Up for sale i have a nice 2003 ford f350 4x4 6.0 diesel crew cab dually lariat with 179,000 miles. This truck is fully loaded all the option except for a sun roof. Power windows , power door locks, cruise controll , power seats , leather seats , tow package , has fith wheel ball in the bed, power mirrors , power adjustable peddals , rear slidding window , bed liner , 4 wheel drive , Fx4 off road package ,back up sensors, over head consol with message center that tells you mpg, outside temp, how many miles until fuel tank is empty. you name it this truck has it. Everything on the truck works great. The transmition was done about 30,000 miles ago. This truck runs and drives like new, You would never know that it has the millage that it has. Mecanicaly this truck is 100 percent. The interior is in great shape for the age. As you can see in my photos there is normal wear on the bottom of the fron drivers seat and a little on the passanger seat. every thing else is in great shape. If you recovered the bottoms of the seats the interior would be mint. You can buy the leather seat covers on ebay for $200 very easy to replace. The exterior looks nice. This truck is 100 percent rust free . The body the under carage the frame break lines everything is comletley rust free. The cab of the truck on the out side is in great shape with the usual minor scratches from rubbing on bushes that will buff right out. Nothing major. There is a dent on the fender above the front passanger tire also in my pics. The front bumper is dented on both sides again you can buy one on ebay for $200 and its just a few bolts. The bed of the truck has some normal light scratches that will also buff right out. The tail gate was replaced by a profetional body shop and looks mint. as you can see in my pics above the left tail light has a dent. The rear passanger fender flare is cracked at the bottom and it has one deep scratch on it. I got a price to replace it at the body shop for $1,000 if you want to replace it to make the truck look mint. This truck is beutiful but is not at all a show truck. If i had to rate it compared to simmilar trucks that where in mint condition i would say 8 out of 10. Has no leaks what so ever. I would be intersted in a trade for a motorcycle , rv, or a boat . but please no junk this is a great truck. Please email me with any trade you might have. This is being sold as is with no gaurantes. I will ship any where in the U.S but buyer is to set up shipping. Please do not bid if you live outside the U.S Please check my feed back and bid with comfadince. My reserve is set way way lower then what other people are for this truck on ebay. Thanks Tony

Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft
Tue, 07 Jan 2014In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.
Ford partnering with MIT, Stanford on autonomous vehicle research
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Ask any car engineer what's the biggest variable in achieving fuel economy targets, and he'll tell you "the driver." If one human can't understand human driving behavior enough to be certain about an innocuous number like miles per gallon, how is an autonomous car supposed to figure out what hundreds of other drivers are going to do in the course of a day? Ford has enlisted the help of Stanford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to find out.
Starting with the automated Fusion Hybrid introduced in December, MIT will be developing algorithms that driverless cars can use to "predict actions of other vehicles and pedestrians" and objects within the three-dimensional map provided by its four LIDAR sensors.
The Stanford team will research how to extend the 'vision' of that LIDAR array beyond obstructions while driving, analogous to the way a driver uses the entire width of a lane to see what's ahead of a larger vehicle in front. Ford says it wants to "provide the vehicle with common sense" as part of its Blueprint for Mobility, preparing for an autonomous world from 2025 and beyond.
Ford ditching Microsoft in favor of BlackBerry QNX for next-gen Sync?
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Ask the average consumer - at least, those who follow the goings-on in the automotive industry - which carmaker they'd most closely associate Microsoft, and the answer you'd most likely get would be Ford. The Blue Oval automaker, after all, was at the forefront of bringing Microsoft technology into cars with its pioneering Sync system, and, though reality didn't turn out as such, Ford's CEO was recently touted as a potential future head of the Redmond-based software giant. But that relationship, according to the latest reports, could be coming to an end.
Alan Mullaly kiboshed the idea of leaving Dearborn for Redmond, but more importantly Ford is tipped to be ditching Microsoft in developing its next-generation Sync system. In its place, Ford is expected to partner with BlackBerry's QNX division.
Now, before you go balking "BlackBerry?! But they're finished!" consider that QNX is (or at least was) an independent entity that Research In Motion (as BlackBerry's Ontario-based parent company was then known) just happened to have bought back in 2010. QNX provides control systems to everything from nuclear power plants and UAVs to automakers like Audi, BMW and Porsche.
