Here is one of the sought after 7.3 L Diesel Super Duty Powerstrokes. Early in 2003 these trucks were no longer produced. This particular truck built in July of 2002. These 7.3L trucks are very popular for 3 reasons. 1. Proven Durability 2. Awesome torque for pulling and hauling 3. Impressive fuel mileage. This privately owned truck has been well cared for and it would be challenging to find another 2003 in this level of condition. MECHANICAL Engine starts like it should and idles great. Performance is impressive and the truck is in excellent working order. No dash engine warning lights illuminated. AC and heat are good. Auto transmission in good shape and shifts smoothly. Suspension and steering are tight. Drives straight. Batteries are in good shape. F2 rear axle code. (4.10 Ratio-Limited Slip) BODY Truck was garage kept for about 6 years. The Red Metallic paint is in good condition and has a nice shine. The clearcoat on top of tailgate is showing some wear. The body is very straight. Bed and tailgate are nice and straight. Fifth wheel rails installed. Windshield is nice. Windows are tinted. Bumpers are good. INTERIOR The interior is in great condition. See photos. Hertz goes Dutch with Ford Focus ST-H

Spin by your local rental location (depending, of course, on availability) and you can take out a Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro, even a Corvette as part of the Adrenaline Collection. Hertz's Dream Cars lineup even includes Porsches and AMGs. But the really interesting stuff is what you can't get anywhere else: cars built specifically for Hertz.
Back in 1966, Hertz had Ford cook up a special run of Mustang GT350H models in back with gold stripes. It became an icon in and of itself, and in 2008 Hertz had a new batch of Shelby GT-Hs made. Earlier this year, Hertz contracted Penske to deliver another fleet of specially-built Mustangs you can rent. But if your travel plans include a trip to the Netherlands, Hertz has a completely different type of specially-prepared Ford on offer for you.
Back in August, Ford delivered a couple of Focus STs made specifically for Hertz in Holland. Now it's expanded that fleet even further. The Ford Focus ST-H features the same 252-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four (and everything else) as the standard Focus ST, but gets that signature black exterior with gold stripes and a black leather interior with Recaro buckets. So in case a trip to Amsterdam doesn't hold enough thrills, now you can throw a hot hatch into the mix as well. Scope out the press release (in Dutch - isn't that weird?) below.
eBay Find of the Day: Mk1 Ford GT40 with interesting history
Sat, 03 May 2014You might expect a rare Ford GT40 to cross the block at some sort of prestigious auto auction from RM or Gooding, not show up on eBay for over $2 million. However, that's exactly what we have here. The seller claims the car is a late-build Mk1 GT40 from 1969, and it's currently owned by the director of the Hublot watch company in Switzerland.
According to the listing, GT40 #P1108 started life as Mk1 car that was built from factory spares in 1969 and was first sold in 1971. However, the auction is somewhat confusing. According to an image in its gallery, the vehicle was actually built from one of the seven spare Mk3 tubs when production of the iconic racers ended.
This GT40 was never built as a racecar - it lived on the streets its whole life. After assembly finished, it was sent to Germany and was eventually registered for the road. The first owner kept the car until 2005 and sold it with 7,300 miles on the odometer. The current owner bought it in 2012.
