A LITTLE HISTORY ON THIS TRUCK, ORIGINALLY IT WAS A FARM TRUCK THEN IT WAS USED BY ME AND THE LAST OWNER AS A CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE. I NEVER TOOK IT ONTO A JOBSITE BUT I DID USE IT TO TRAVEL WITH MY TOOLBOX. I HAVE TAKEN IT FROM INDIANAPOLIS TO NEW ORLEANS WITH NO PROBLEM. THE TRUCK ISNT PERFECT, ITS A WORK TRUCK. I TOOK THE BEST PICTURES I CAN BUT LITTLE THINGS LIKE A CRACKED MIRROR MOLDING AND A SMALL ROCK CHIP IN THE WINDSHIELD. (THOSE ARE THE BIGGEST TWO)

THEN THE OTHER DAY I WAS DRIVING IT IN TOWN AND I HEARD A "POP" LIKE SOUND AND I LOST ENGINE POWER. IT DOES STILL RUN AND DRIVE BUT NOW IT IS REALLY HARD TO START IN THE MORNING AND IT LACKS POWER. I AM NOT A DIESEL MECHANIC BUT IF I HAD TO GUESS IT NEEDS AN INJECTOR. ITS TIME FOR ME TO GET A TRUCK THAT DOESNT NEED WORK SINCE I DO LACK THE SKILLS TO FIX THEM. SO MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN.

WHAT I THINK IT NEEDS; (AGAIN IM NOT A MECHANIC)
MAYBE AN INJECTOR, TIME FOR A TRANNY FLUSH, AND THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW GREASED. THATS ALL I KNOW OF.

I'LL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER TO QUESTIONS, THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.

THIS TRUCK IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUTION AT ANY TIME. A NON-REFUNDABLE DOWNPAYMENT OF $500 IS DUE IMMEDIATELY AFTER AUCTION END. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE 7 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE AND TRUCK MUST BE PICKED UP IN 14 DAYS. IF YOU NEED MORE TIME JUST MESSAGE ME FIRST. TRUCK CAN BE SHOWN BY APPOINTMENT. ITS LOCATION IS CLARKSVILLE, TN.

Ford reserving 50th Anniversary Mustangs for service members

Tue, Dec 16 2014

Think getting your hands on one of the 1,964 50th Anniversary Ford Mustangs is hard as a civilian? Imagine how tough it might be for the Mustang fanatics in our nation's military. Perhaps recognizing this fact, Ford Emerging Market Services and the Overseas Military Sales Corporation (the only Ford-authorized retailer on the military's bases) ran a raffle, with the winners receiving the opportunity to purchase one of the limited-edition muscle cars. Ford EMS and OMS received 300 entries to the raffle, although with only eight 50th Anniversary Stangs to hand out, we imagine there were quite a lot of disappointed soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. "We are pleased to offer limited-edition anniversary Mustangs to members of our military through our Military Appreciation Program, and we are delighted at the response it's receiving," Doug Walczak, EMS' fleet sales manager, said. The first Mustang was delivered to Army Maj. Del Boyer, shown above. While Maj. Boyer took delivery in New York, the raffle was open to servicemembers both at home and abroad.

Jerry Seinfeld doesn't love Sarah Jessica Parker's new Country Squire in latest CiCGC

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has finally returned for its fourth season of combining Jerry Seinfeld, a miscellaneous celebrity and a cup of java. But rather than fondly remembering some older piece of automotive machinery, this time around, Seinfeld is utterly unable to keep his hatred of Sarah Jessica Parker's 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire from coming out to hilarious effect.
However, Parker has such a high level of infectious enthusiasm for her recently purchased Country Squire that she seems to win over Seinfeld by the end - at least a little bit. For most of their time together, the two of them drive around Manhattan and the suburbs waxing nostalgic about what things were like when these wagons were ubiquitous.
Since this is actually SJP's car, she and Seinfeld trade off driving duties, and the image above should give you some indication of Seinfeld's reaction to the Sex and the City star behind the wheel. It seems this '70s land yacht might be a little too much for her to handle in New York traffic. Regardless, she is absolutely in love with her Ford.

Next Ford Raptor spotted wearing aluminum skin

Wed, 07 May 2014

Well, look at what we have here. Judging from these spy shots, Ford is indeed working on the next generation of its off-road-ready F-150 Raptor pickup truck. We've made no attempt to hide our appreciation for the Baja-style truck, which combines most of the usability of a fullsize truck with heavy-duty suspension components to make a kind of performance vehicle that is unique in the market.
What we haven't known, until now, is whether Ford would push forward with its Raptor program now that it has a completely new F-150 to serve as its base. And that's especially true since Ford made the bold move of switching the bodywork of its best-seller from tried-and-true steel to aluminum. As you can see above, the front and rear of this silver truck are clad in current-gen Raptor bodywork, while the center section that houses the occupants appears to come from the upcoming 2015 F-150.
Dissecting the views above, we note a few interesting tidbits. First, there looks to be a bulge in the truck's hood. Second, we see a new grille between the current Raptor's headlights, sporting a mesh finish and two horizontal bars. Lastly, our eyes can't help but lock in on those burly A-arm suspension pieces down below, not to mention all that ground clearance the specialty suspenders bring to the table.
