2000 F350 DIESEL LARIAT 19' HODGES BED TRUCK
I PURCHASED THIS TRUCK ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO. IT HAS SERVED ME WELL AND HAS ALWAYS PERFORMED AS I NEEDED IT TO.
BECAUSE OF LIFE'S CHANGES I NO LONGER HAVE A NEED FOR THIS TRUCK SO IT'S TIME FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO USE THIS WORK
HORSE. I HAVE USED IT FOR MY PERSONAL USE OF HAULING CLASSIC CARS AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN ABUSED OR OVER LOADED.
MECHANICALLY THIS HAULER HAS BEEN VERY RELIABLE. WITH ONLY 168K ON THE 7.3 DIESEL THERE ARE MANY MORE MILES AND
YEARS LEFT ON THIS TRUCK. IT DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD WELL WITH VERY LITTLE PLAY OR WANDERING AND SEEMS TO STOP AND
SHIFT AS IT SHOULD. THERE ARE NO LIGHTS ON IN THE GAUGE CLUSTER AND WOULD THINK IT WOULD PASS A STATE INSPECTION IF
NEEDED. THE ONLY MECHANICAL ISSUES IT HAS IS THE PARKING BRAKE DOESN'T WORK, THERE IS A VERY MINOR EXHAUST LEAK
THAT HAS NEVER SEEMED BAD ENOUGH TO FIX. IT HAS 6 ALMOST NEW TIRES
THE EXTERIOR OF THE TRUCK IS STILL IN VERY NICE CONDITION. THERE IS NO RUST TO SPEAK OF AND THERE ARE ONLY A FEW
MINOR DINGS AND CHIPS. THE DOOR GAPS AND FENDER GAPS SEEM TO BE FACTORY ORIGINAL AND ALL DOORS OPEN AND SHUT AS
THEY SHOULD. THE HODGES BED HAS HAD A FEW RUST PATCHES ON THE BED WHICH HAVE BEEN REPAIRED. IT HAS A LITTLE
RIPPLING ON THE BED FLOOR (AS THEY ALL DO) . THERE HAVE BEEN SOME REPAIRED PLACES ON SIDES OF BED BUT ALL IN ALL
THE BED IS VERY PRESENTABLE AND IS ALL ONE COLOR. THE WINCH WORKS AND SO DO MOST OF BED LIGHTS IN FLOOR.
BEING THE LARIAT THIS TRUCK CAME WITH LEATHER SEATS AND A FANCIER DECOR PACKAGE. IT HAS POWER WINDOWS, LOCKS,
DRIVER'S SEAT, AND MIRRORS. IT HAS THE UPGRADE SOUND SYSTEM AND CD PLAYER. THERE IS MINOR WEAR TO DRIVER'S SEAT AND
CARPET BUT BOTH ARE STILL VERY PRESENTABLE.
THIS IS A NICE RELIABLE TRUCK WHICH IS READY TO WORK. I WOULD GET IN THIS VEHICLE AND DRIVE ACCROSS COUNTRY
TOMORROW WITH NO HESITATIONS. I HAVE TRYED TO DESCRIBE THIS TRUCK AS HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE. THAT BEING SAID THIS
TRUCK IS 16 YEARS OLD AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WRITTEN EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. IT WILL BE PICKED UP WHERE IS AS IS
AND SHOULD BE PICKED UP WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL INSPECTIONS AND WILL MAKE EASILY
ACCEPTABLE TO DO SO. THIS TRUCK WILL NOT LEAVE UNTILL ALL MONIES HAVE CLEARED

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.
How that awesome Mustang R/C car chase vid was made
Tue, 06 Aug 2013We've reported on a few R/C car chase videos in the past. One in particular that stands out as a favorite is Zach King's "The Cliché RC Action Chase." It featured a pair of Ford Mustang coupes racing through a cardboard city, plowing into outdoor patios and busting through construction zones. It was wonderfully creative and fun to watch, yet we know there was more to its creation than a bunch of guys fooling around with a camera one afternoon.
Turns out we were right, as evidenced by this video produced by Ford that takes us behind the scenes of Zach's creation. The young filmmaker explains why he chose the Mustang to star in his video, as well as how the cardboard sets were created, what equipment they used for shooting and what it was like when his video went viral. Ford found the young filmmaker and produced the followup as part of its Mustang Countdown video series, which will see a new video about the Mustang culture released every week until the original muscle car's anniversary on April 17, 2014.
Want to make an RC chase video of your own? Yeah, we do too. Watch the behind-the-scenes video below (you can refresh yourself on the mini feature film, too) before you get started.
How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be
Fri, 20 Sep 2013Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.
