I have a 1999 Ford F-350 4x4 truck. It has an automatic transmission that shifts good.
Has the bulletproof 7.3l power stroke diesel that has 238,850 miles that runs fine. Has dual stacks. This truck has a flat bed that is in good shape. has a towing package. Has 33 inch tires mounted on nice rims. have ok tread left. The engine has a brand new oil pan with new correct motor craft sealant. New oil and oil filter. Has a new ICP sensor and fuel filter. Coolant was just flushed and new coolant added. Brakes are good. Has the xlt package with power windows. needs a paint job ( as you can see in the picture). The previous owner did a horrible job. And needs an e brake cable. Maaco painting in rockaway said a paint job will cost around 600$. If I don't get what i want for this truck. I will just keep it and get it painted. Would make for a great plow truck or daily driver. I also have the original rims and tires for it. And this truck also comes with a almost brand new bully dog tuner. ( was 600$ new). I am asking a reasonable 6000$ but will take the first best offer. Reason for selling: I am looking for a crew cab diesel. Like i said if the don't get the right price I will keep it and get it painted. Clean Title in Hand Check out the pictures and ask any questions before offering. THis is for pickup only in Oak Ridge NJ 07438! Cash only and 500 deposit due when listing ends and the rest to be paid in cash on pickup I also have another Ford Diesel for sale on ebay. I can make a package deal or sell separately. Any questions just ask! http://www.ebay.com/itm/151370445093?forcerRptr=true&item=151370445093&viewitem=#full-history Thanks |

Ford EV Chief: 150 kW fast charging could be the norm
Fri, May 1 2015Ford's electrified-vehicle sales aren't exactly at the top of the charts this year, but that hasn't stopped Mike Tinskey, the automaker's global director of electrification and infrastructure, from being rather enthusiastic about advancements in various forms of more environmentally sustainable mobility. Tinskey, in an interview with The Verge, spoke of a world with really fast plug-in vehicle chargers. And of vehicles that can be re-parked using a remote driver. How fun. Tinskey, who touts SAE/combo fast-charging charging specification as the most likely to take the global leadership position, said a 150-kilowatt charger could be on the market "very soon." That'd mean an electric vehicle could be 80-percent recharged in just 20 minutes. Today's quickest units, the Tesla Supercharger, can crank out up to 120 kW. Some companies are touting 100-kW charging times, despite the lack of compatible chargers. Tinskey also spoke about Ford studies of a so-called "Remote Repositioning" feature, which would allow cars to be re-parked at night using a remote driver over a cellular network as spaces empty up, cutting down traffic, needless driving and pollution as a result. We're sure ready for such a thing. Through the first quarter of this year, sales of Ford's hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles are down 28 percent from a year earlier to about 15,000 units. Sounds like those improvements Tinskey speaks of can't come soon enough. Featured Gallery 2012 Ford Focus Electric: Quick Spin View 18 Photos News Source: The Verge Green Ford

Forza Motorsport 6 shows off the Ford GT's active rear spoiler
Tue, Aug 18 2015We knew that among the many technical treats provided by the Ford GT is an active rear wing, and we knew that the domestic exotic is going to grace the cover of Forza Motorsport 6. What we didn't know is how that rear wing looked when deployed, and thanks to Forza, now we do. If the driving game is being its usual model of accuracy, then the GT wing is no joke - everyone will know when you mean business. We've seen this kind of setup on the Bugatti Veyron and, more subtly, on the McLaren P1. Like those two examples, the GT flap automatically changes its angle in different conditions, such as under braking. When Ford gave us a tour of the GT interior we noticed a lot of buttons, now we're wondering if any of them allow the driver to deploy the wing at will. There is a button marked "aero," but no associated graphic to explain what it's for. The AR12 Gaming host of the video above isn't there for the GT, though - he's responding to audience requests for 60-frames-per-second gameplay footage in Forza, and to see how the tire smoke looks while drifting. But his stop-and-go drifting efforts give us plenty of footage of the wing in action, so check it out.
