This is a 1999 F350 SuperCab 4x4 short bed with a V10 motor and automatic transmission. Purchased new from the Ford dealer in Sherman, New york. One owner. 175k miles and rolled one time. Engine and trans need work but it does run and drive. The real value of this unit is the 8' Western Snowplow which has been well maintained and completely refurbished, the plow is in excellent condition and given that a new one would cost at least 5k a buyer could fix up the truck and use it as a site maintenance vehicle or take the plow off and use it on another vehicle. In any event this is a well used truck and not for anyone that is not capable of making repairs as fourteen years of use would require. That said, there are many good parts and the potential for someone inclined to provide the proper effort is considerable. If you have a fleet of similar or you are inclined towards a project vehicle this would be a good purchase. As stated the plow is in excellent shape with a new hand held control unit. The tires are newer with better than 75% tread. The hood and fenders are in decent shape. We rebuilt the pickup box and the floor is more solid than when new. Doors are rough but servicable - we will include a set of mint condition southern doors that we have as well as two sets of mirrors and a number of other spare parts accumulated over the years. The vehicle is for sale as is, where is.It can be inspected upon request and we welcome any questions you may have.

Petersen Museum celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang with special exhibit
Mon, May 5 2014If you're a pony-car enthusiast, this is your year. Not only has Ford introduced an all-new Mustang, but it's also the 50th anniversary of the original. Celebrations and commemorations have been scheduled throughout the year, and not the least of them is the latest exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Called "Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend", the exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation of the iconic pony car, including the 1965 convertible Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports, aftermarket modifiers and limited-edition models. The display opened on Sunday with the Mustang Madness spectacular and will run for the next six months, but if you're not heading to Southern California within the coming half-year then you can scope out all the action in our live gallery of photos above.
Ford shares falling on news of lower-than-expected profits next year
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Ford has released projections for its 2013 profits, along with predictions of its 2014 earnings, and the news has forced the company's stock to stumble, falling over seven percent as of this writing. The Blue Oval is expecting earnings of $8.34 billion for 2013, although the bulk of that is coming largely from its North American operations, as troubles abroad continue to take a toll.
Calling 2013 an "outstanding" year, Ford expects its revenue to be up about 10 percent, thanks to gains in market share everywhere but Europe. But it's 2014 predictions that are causing stock prices to fall, as the Dearborn-based manufacturer expects pre-tax profits to fall to $7 to $8 billion, because of troubles in both Europe and South America, according to a report from Reuters. This is despite an expansion plan that will see it open an additional factory in the southern hemisphere, as well as two plants in China, all in a bid to launch 23 new or refreshed products next year.
The issues in South America aren't so much related to a fall in sales - Ford expects improved profits in Brazil and Argentina - but because of currency devaluations in Venezuela that are projected to cost it around $350 million. While that would still allow it to break even with 2013, Ford cites continued economic risks that could push losses even higher.
2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*
Tue, 04 Nov 2014The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.
