1997 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dually. Legendary 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Engine. The engine was replaced at 187000 miles. Transmission was serviced at 220k miles. Truck runs great, shifts fine and cruises down the road nicely. Front end is solid (no problems with the joints, mounts, etc). Truck has PW, PL, CD, A/C. Interior is in very good condition. Exterior is in good condition (has the typical rock chips in the paint, and some small dings). Bed has a rhino liner, and has the cut out for a gooseneck w/7 way connection installed. Newer Alcoa wheels and tires only have about 5k on them. The truck has the typical small oil leak after the truck has been run hard (loses about a teaspoon from the dipstick area....if you've had a 7.3 you know where I mean). The ABS light is flashing, but brakes work fine. Those are the only issues on this truck. I would not hesitate to drive this truck accross the country. This is a no reserve auction. The book value is higher than the starting price.
If you have less than 5 positive feedback you need to contact me PRIOR to bidding. I have had to many bad experiences with bad bidders.
If you are in the Albuquerque area, you are welcome to come look at the truck and inspect it. Thanks!

Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.
2015 Ford Mustang: Obsessively covered [w/videos + poll]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Here at Autoblog, we've officially stamped December 5, 2013, as Ford Mustang Day. Sure, the sixth-generation Pony Car started leaking out onto the web days ago, but all of the official, non-embargoed hotness has come out today. And man, there's been a lot.
In terms of new car debuts, this is a really big one - not unlike all of the Corvette madness that kicked off the 2013 automotive season. So to make sure you haven't missed anything, here's a wrap-up of everything you need to know about the 2015 Ford Mustang.

Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.
