We can deliver to the winning bidder anywhere in the eastern part of the U.S for the cost of fuel. If you are in the west/Midwest/south it will be up to you to arrange transport/delivery.

This truck in my opinion would be in the best 10% available as far as condition for this model/age vehicle.
We bought it in March of this year to do a camping tour of the U.S and it performed flawlessly.
Now it is time for us to return home so regrettably we have to sell.
The truck had 174,600 miles on it when we bought it from the original owner in Wyoming. We have since put about 11,000 miles on it. It has ZERO  body rust and was always garaged and maintained.
Here is a list of what we have added.
Rear firestone airbags, New tires all round (now have 75% tread left), New shock absorbers all round, New power steering pump, New vacuum pump,New batteries 850 amp motorcrafts. Changed all fluids diffs, transfer case etc,New air filter, fuel filter, new serpentine belt. Torklift tie downs on front and happi jac tabs on rear for camper tie down.(we sold camper).
Everything mentioned above is OEM no cheap replacement parts!
This truck is in overall great condition and ready to go anywhere!

Extras included are- grill guard, tekonsha electric trailer brake controller, mr pickup rear step/hitch, side steps and A.R.E camper shell.

Note: we bought the camper shell after we sold our slide in camper just to keep our stuff dry. It is in good condition but is NOT a perfect fit for this model, I think it is off a newer model. As I said it works fine.

The only thing that doesn't work is the cassette player but I think it is an easy fix, I never bothered because we just used our mp3 player.

The rear passenger locking knob, the very top is broken off it and it is a little sticky as you have to press the central locking button twice to get it to lock, the rest of the doors are fine.

The drivers seat has a little wear but really minimal , it has seat covers on both front seats, the rear seat has rarely been used by the look of it.

The top half of the steering wheel has some wear as to be expected but nothing major.

Everything else in the interior is in great condition.

The paint is in very good condition, but it has a lot of very, very light scratching that can easily be polished out and hardly noticeable.

There are in total three dings from hailstones, one about like a thumb print on the hood and two on the roof about like golf ball size, none of these has cracked the paint or anything so not really an issue.

It has a small fleck of paint about the size of your little finger nail off the drivers door, the original owner told me it was there from new, can easily be touched up.

The top rail of the pickup bed has some marks where a head ache rack was bolted on but nothing as far as damage, just small cosmetic stuff.

The bed is straight with no major dings/damage, it has a rubber mat in it which has helped protect it.

The tail gate has a ding in the bottom left corner where a 2 inch piece of pipe slid forward off a trailer (original owner) it isn't deep and could be fixed without too much bother.

All of the above are little things that don't affect the trucks functionality in any way, I just mention them because I am fussy and to make you aware of everything I can.

The engine is strong and uses no oil between changes and the oil looks clean even after 3-5k miles, I have never had a diesel like that before, it usually turns black after a week!

The original owner told me he put a new clutch and flywheel in it at 100,000 miles, it is still the dual mass fly wheel and it seems tight.

Hubs lock in and out good and I don't think the 4x4 has been used much , we used it about twice!

Also will throw in my tool kit and a few spares, probably 200-300 dollars worth.

I can't think of much else to say, if you have any Q,s please ask and happy bidding

And to the lucky person who wins, you are getting a great solid truck. I looked for a long time when I bought this to find the one I wanted.

you can also call me if you want to discuss anything about the truck or more pics etc. 303 325 4574  Doug.

Ford faces class-action lawsuit for selling vehicles without brake override systems

Fri, 29 Mar 2013

A total of 20 Ford customers are suing the automaker in a class-action lawsuit for selling vehicles "vulnerable to unintended acceleration." According to Reuters, the suit names 30 models built between 2002 and 2010 with electronic throttle control systems but without a brake override system. Those include the 2004-2012 F-Series pickups and the 2005-2009 Lincoln Town Car. Adam Levitt, a partner with the law firm of Grant & Eisenhofer says the plaintiffs in the case want "to be compensated for their economic losses by having overpaid for cars that contained defects." Levitt contends that the plaintiffs would not have bought their vehicles or paid less for them had they known there was no brake override system in place.
Ford began installing brake override systems in its vehicles beginning in 2010. In response to the lawsuit, Ford has pointed to research by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that indicated that unintended acceleration is mostly caused by driver error, saying in a statement that, "NHTSA's work is far more scientific and trustworthy than work done by personal injury lawyers and their paid experts."
Belville et al v. Ford Motor Co. will be heard in US District Court in the Southern District of West Virginia.

It's Official: Ford Names Mark Fields Its Next CEO

Thu, May 1 2014

Alan Mulally, the man who transformed Ford Motor Co. from a dysfunctional money-loser to a thriving company, will retire July 1 and be replaced by Mark Fields, the current chief operating officer. During his eight-year tenure at Ford, Mulally gambled all of the company's assets on a credit line that kept Ford out of bankruptcy, then used a simple "One Ford" plan to change the company's culture. He was hired away from aircraft maker Boeing Co. in 2006 by Bill Ford, who at the time was running the company. Fields, 53, has been in charge of Ford's daily operations since December of 2012 and was widely expected to one day ascend to the top job. The change in leadership is taking place about six months ahead of schedule, but Ford said that was based on Mulally's recommendation that the new leaders were ready. "Alan and I feel strongly that Mark and the entire leadership team are absolutely ready to lead Ford forward, and now is the time to begin the transition," Bill Ford said in a statement Thursday morning. Bill Ford, the company's executive chairman, is the great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford. Mulally, 68, was trained as an aeronautical engineer. He spent 36 years at Boeing - and was president of the company's commercial airplane division - when Bill Ford lured him to the struggling automaker eight years ago. Mulally overcame skepticism about being an outsider in the insular ranks of Detroit car guys by quickly pinpointing the reasons why Ford was losing billions each year. Mulally put a stop to the infighting that had paralyzed the company and instituted weekly management meetings where executives faced new levels of accountability and were encouraged to work together to solve problems. It took two years for Mulally to turn the company around, but since 2009, Ford has posted pretax profits of $34.5 billion and its shares have more than doubled. Fields was one of the executives passed over when Mulally got the top job in 2006. When he was named COO in 2012, Bill Ford said Fields' decision to stay at Ford and learn from Mulally showed a lot of fortitude and has made Fields a better leader. "There was a lot of speculation about whether he was capable. To his great credit, he stuck to it, he learned from it and showed tremendous fortitude in grinding through an incredibly difficult process," Bill Ford said. This marks the second change in leadership at the top of one of the Detroit automakers this year.
