This auction is for a 1993 Ford F350 This is my own work truck for my lawn care business, 44,860 original miles. It used to be a fire department vehicle that they used to transport hoses. The pictures will reflect the issues the truck does have the drivers side floor has a rust hole, driver seat has 1 tear, the rear view mirror needs re glued I just don't use this mirror is reason for not fixing this. Overall the interior is in good condition, the exterior does have scuffs and dents. The winch on the front did work but its currently not I believe this is a wiring issue. The light on top works good. I had a new power steering pump installed to fix a lak in the power steering however this did not fix the leak once every 3 months I have to add a bottle of fluid so its not bad but it does exist. Now the pros to this truck.  Its a horse, pulls my trailer great and has good power, hauls a load if needed. It is very dependable. I had a new Clutch installed approx. 5 months ago, I can make copies of the receipt on this if needed, new back drums, new front brakes and rotors replaced 1 month ago, the tread on the tires is not horrible but the front tires will be needing replaced to pass inspection. I would be happy to do whatever is needed in shipping this truck but shipping cost is the buyers expense. I would also be glad to drive 2 hours and meet you with the truck I will make arrangements for a driver back. This truck should last for quite a few thousand more miles. Shifts great ( 5 speed) overall its jut a good work truck and the only reason I am selling the truck is because I am getting out of the lawncare business. I will have the  truck out forsale tomorrow so ending the listing early is always possible, Serious offers will be considered. I will also get the flat bed cleaned out. This sale is as is no warranties included.

Ford's Mulally makes shortlist for Microsoft CEO

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Ford CEO Alan Mulally has made the short list to take over tech giant Microsoft, lending further credence to rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would ditch Dearborn and move to Redmond.
The report comes from Reuters, which claims that alongside Mulally, former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop and three candidates from within Microsoft are on the short list to succeed Steve Ballmer at the company's helm, although previous reports claim the Ford exec is the number one candidate. Mulally is currently working without a contract, although Bill Ford seems to believe that he isn't likely to depart. Despite this belief, Ford was quoted just last month talking about the depth of talent on the Blue Oval's executive team.
"There is no change from what we announced last November. Alan remains fully focused on continuing to make progress on our One Ford plan. We do not engage in speculation," said Ford spokesman Jay Cooney.

Muscle wins big at 2013 Amelia Island Concours as 1936 Duesenberg, 1968 Ford GT40 take top honors

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The 18th-annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance took place this past weekend, and in one of the show's biggest years yet (bringing in more than 25,000 spectators and attracting more than 300 vehicles), two powerhouses ended up winning the judges' hearts. The top Concours d'Elegance award went to a 1936 Duesenberg SJN, while the Concours de Sport went to one of the celebrated marques, a 1968 Ford GT40.
Owned by Helen and Jack Nethercutt of Sylmar, CA, this flawless Duesy is described as "one of the most powerful open cars of the 1930s," and it displays design cues of the era like rolled fenders and a tapered rear end. The SJN's supercharged straight-eight allowed it to accelerate to 100 miles per hour in just 17 seconds - surely not a disappointing feat for its day.
On a much different level of performance and timelessness, this Gulf-livery GT40 from the Rocky Mountain Auto Collection is not outdone by the elegance of the big Duesenberg thanks to some well-documented racing history. This not only includes winning at LeMans in both 1968 and 1969 - Chassis No. 1075 also managed to win a total of six times in just 11 races.
