Hello diesel family and friends, my name is Tom my wife and I have been licensed PA new and used Truck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. We have recently downsized to a small mom and pop operation here in carlisle PA (E-Motors) to sell 2 or 3 trucks a month, we are small and I do this more for a hobby than anything else.(low overhead low prices) I know these old powerstroke diesel trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast to folks who have never seen a no rust old 24 valve. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it. A few things to know before bidding or becomming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers, no lowballers please its just a total waste of time, do the homework and reasrech what these 6 speeds sell for you'll see my price is right on, then come up I'll make it sweeter! I do not take trades on my diesels , but I also do airport pickup at Harrisburg International, I am a bonded tag agent and issue temp tags/title transfer on the spot at my office, I also do long or short deliverys and have on call hours 7 days a week from 9-9 east time. 717 991 0568 I reserve the right to close down ebay for any cash buyer with deposit online on phone or on lot, I deal first come first served with deposit, I'm open 7 days a week for info or looks in person call for appointment, thanks My promise is to deal on a "do unto others as I'd want done to me" basis. I will represent all vehicles professionally, and deal up front and honestly, treat all customers or callers with the utmost respect and courtesy, using my abilitys, experence and talents to help all buyers get the best truck and deal possible wheather its from me of another seller, rule number 1 is to be a blessing and the blessings to me will follow eventually, my only request is you deal with me in a similar fashion, thanks folks looking fordward to meeting you...Tom 717 991 0568 Need a good truck I think I might have just the right thing here. How about this 2000 Texas (New Mexico) 1 owner owned, no rust Ford F350 1 ton Super Crew longbox 4 door with the awesome 7.3 powerstroke diesel and a rare 6 speed stick. Has 373 rears, great for towing and got me 18 plus mpg's up the highway from Tesas driving her home. Mechanically great shape, new PA state insp, new brakes and rotors, new filters and fluids, great power generated from the 7.3 no smoke or blow by, good hot batteries and injectors fires right up cold and idles beautifuly. In the interior it is nice and clean, no rips tears, cracks stains or smells. All power equip working well, nice factory floor mat for easy cleaning or have me install a factory carpet set for only 199.99 extra. Best of all this truck is from the southwest where rust and salt dont live. All factory origional paint, no putty or bodywork. The bed has nice quarters and bed supports, nice doors, frame, brake lines, and oil pan, it is why I spend thousands extra buying southern and western trucks since rust free dont exist here in the north east. Here are a few things to mull around as well as you decide, as you know this gal is 13 plus years old and of course its a pickup truck, pickup trucks are used for hauling stuff and working around the house or buisness and other chours like that, so they will encur some wear and tear, I have the means and experence like any other professional dealer to correct these imperfections but I dont like to sell perfect trucks because I have found all buyers on ebay dont want to pay perfect prices, they like stealing stuff, and I in turn like selling steal of a deal price to my loyal ebay customers also, so here are a list of stuff keeping it from perfection... Normal paint rock chips here and there, minor scraches most will just buff off, about a handful of parking lot type dinggers only 1 much noticable shown in photo on side door, mechanically super great but tires are low on tread but safe to drive home about 4/32nds of rubber, finally clutch bering has a little than normal wine, no slips or grinds at all fully functional but thought it should be known, thats about it, questions concerns feel free to call or email...Tom 717 991 0568 E Motors...Carlisle

Mustang parts under the new Lincoln Aviator mean good things for Ford
Wed, Mar 28 2018NEW YORK — As we mentioned last night, underneath the new Lincoln Aviator "concept" there appears to be an independent rear suspension lifted right from the Ford Mustang parts bin. And while it's pretty cool on its face that Mustang rear-drive platform bits are being reused in the broader Ford universe, what this means for the next Explorer could be really cool. A quick caveat: The Aviator here in New York is very close to the production version, but it's not technically a production car. It looks hand-built, with temporary exhaust and some show-car touches. The suspension underneath looks exactly like a Mustang's, but the actual production Aviator will almost certainly use beefier components with the same basic design and geometry, since the Aviator will be much heavier than the smaller Mustang. That being said, we're fairly confident that even at this early stage, the Mustang-derived suspension seen in New York is a preview of what'll be under the production Aviator. Furthermore, Ford won't say it, but based on what we're seeing on Aviator, it's a safe bet that Ford will utilize the Aviator platform for the next Explorer. That would enable the economies of scale necessary to produce a brand new rear-drive-based SUV platform in the first place. It also means that the Explorer should be available without AWD — and given the stable of powerful EcoBoost engines, and the competent 10-speed automatic in the parts bin, a rear-drive Explorer has a shot at being a decent driver. Aviator wouldn't go rear-drive-based if driving dynamics weren't important; Explorer should inherit these priorities. More evidence: The Explorer spy shots we saw back in February sure share the Aviator's general proportions. Even back then, before Aviator was revealed, we were hypothesizing that an EcoBoost 3.5-liter-powered version could boast as much as 400 horsepower, if the Expedition's tune were adopted. Suddenly, the Explorer seems very interesting. So, an EcoBoost, rear-drive Explorer sure sounds like something Ford Performance would be interested in, right? We knew an Explorer ST is coming, but with 365-400 horsepower potential and a chassis designed with dynamics in mind, it doesn't seem like as much of a stretch as the Edge ST. And a performance-oriented AWD system is a possibility, too. That's an area where Ford has been gathering experience at a rapid pace. What do we not expect from a new Explorer? A V8.
2015 Ford Focus Electric hides in plain sight
Wed, 16 Apr 2014The styling changes to the 2015 Ford Focus were shown off at the recent Geneva Motor Show, so what the EV version looks like is not that much of a surprise. Still, the 2015 Focus Electric is making its world debut here at the New York Auto Show, so we wanted to know what changes we are looking at compared to both the internal combustion engine version and the earlier EV models.
The exterior visual distinctions between the ICE and EV are minimal, and basically nonexistent from the A-pillar to the rear. Up front, you can see the charge port, of course, but the front fascia has also undergone a bit of an adjustment. The front doesn't have the ICE version's flattened grille and the EV's Ford logo creates a bump in the hood line where none exists on the ICE. The 2015's grille is also different than the one on the 2014 Focus Electric, being slightly smaller (you can see this better if you compare pictures in our new gallery above to these of the 2011 Focus Electric and these of the gas-powered 2015 Focus).
The updated 2015 interior - which we couldn't access ourselves - has things like a new center stack, improved cupholders and is basically identical between the gas and electric models. With the car off, you can't even tell if you're in an EV or ICE, Seema Bardwaj, the US brand manager for the Focus, told AutoblogGreen. The only things that are different, she said, are extra menu screens to show EV powertrain information to the driver.
Ford profiles surprisingly affluent Focus ST buyers
Fri, 08 Nov 2013It comes as no surprise when Ford says that 32-percent of Focus ST buyers are under 35, but we weren't expecting this: the average annual salary of Focus ST buyers is $127,000. Twenty-two percent of non-ST Focus buyers are under 35, while their average annual salary is $67,000.
We like the Focus ST because it has 252 horsepower, is genuinely fun to drive and offers great value for performance-minded car enthusiasts; facts that are not lost on customers, it seems. Ford says that the Focus ST has the highest percentage of conquest sales for a non-hybrid model it sells, and that the top-four trade-ins are from Honda, Chevrolet, Mazda and Toyota. Demand for the hot Focus is strongest in Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Orlando.
"[The Focus ST is] having this kind of halo effect for other vehicles we'd hoped for when we invested in the ST brand," says John Felice, vice president of US marketing, sales and service, because it's helping to boost sales of other Ford vehicles.
