1978 Ford F-250 4x4 Supercab Ranger. This is an original old truck, It can be used as a daily driver or can easily be restored. I found this truck sitting on a farm in Eastern Wa. and was going to restore, but then found an old suburban that would better suit the familys needs. It has a 400 V8, 4 speed manual, Dana 60 front axle and 70 rear. The truck runs and drives good. It has a new battery and rebuilt carb. Drives very straight. The A/C appears to be complete but does not work. The windshield is cracked, the rest of the glass is good. Also the auxiliary tank does not work but is complete as well. It has a 5th wheel hitch in the bed. It has very minimal rust for the year! I removed the floor mat so you can see. The drivers side floor pan has only surface rust so is good to go. The passenger side floor board does have a couple holes and should be patched. Their is also a spot behind the rear quarter lower panel that needs patched as you can see in the pics. It has small dings and such in the body. The tailgate has been replaced at one point but isnt a perfect one. Has some dings and dents in the bed. A couple of the stake pockets need some love. This is a very good original rare truck but needs restored to be really nice, or drive it as is. Winning bidder must place a $500 non refundable paypal deposit within 12 hrs of auction close. The remainder must be payed in 7 days from close of auction.Truck must be picked up within 14 days unless arranged otherwise. Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road
Sat, 12 Apr 2014If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.
Ford Q3 pretax profits drop to $1.18B
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Following positive third quarter financial results recently from General Motors, rival Ford took a tumble in Q3. The automaker posted pre-tax profits of $1.18 billion, compared to about $2.59 billion in Q3 2013, a drop of around 54 percent. Net income also suffered with $835 million made in the quarter, versus $1.272 billion last year, a decline of about 34 percent. The Blue Oval blamed the gloomy figures on three reasons in its release: "lower volume, higher warranty costs and adverse balance sheet exchange effects."
There were problems of one kind or another in practically every region. North America experienced higher warranty costs than expected, partially due to recalls. The sales volume for the quarter was 665,000 units, versus 725,000 in Q3 2013, and pre-tax results amounted to $1.41 billion versus $2.296 billion last year.
South America and Europe both posted worse pre-tax results than last year. On the bright side, European volume was up slightly to 321,000 vehicles, from 303,000 in Q3 2013. The Middle East and Africa also lost $15 million, but that was an improvement compared to the $25 million loss previously experienced in this region.
