It has a Bullydog chip, and a goose neck hitch that is hidden and can easily be removed to give you a clean bed. The bed does have some scratches on the inside. It has a rubber floor mat. The truck has leather seats, and is in good condition overall. This truck is not perfect however my Father took good care of it. The tires are Goodyear and have appx 5000 miles on them. The motor runs good and strong and has a lot of life left in it. It has the EGR delete kit and the stud bolts put in the head. This remedies two of the problems the 6.0 commonly dealt with. My Father used it for pulling his travel trailer and a small tool trailer."

This truck belongs to my Father and I would really encourage anyone interested to give him a call. Levi Schrock 417-543-0667. The truck is not perfect, However I would say it is in good condition. The truck has a gooseneck hitch and also has a Bullydog chip. The 6.0 is a good running engine and has a lot of power.

Watch these Australian Ford and Holden muscle cars duke it out

Wed, 21 Aug 2013

Australia's Motoring has put together a little video on two of the great performance vehicles available down under - the Holden VF Commodore HSV GTS and the Ford Falcon FPV GT R-Spec. And while both FPV and the Falcon might be on their way out, there's still plenty of time for a little head-to-head comparison between the two.
The cars aren't all that well evenly matched, though. The Ford boasts a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8, which the Aussies measure out at 449 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The HSV, though, with its Corvette-derived, 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 is just too powerful - 576 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque.
Predictably, it doesn't end too well for the Ford. As the guys from Motoring point out, the new VF Commodore is just too new and too good, with its extra power and its adaptive dampers (GM's excellent MagnaRide). Interestingly, Motoring did point out that the Holden's electric steering is better than the Ford's hydraulic steering, which is a lot like a Porsche purist saying they prefer water-cooled engines to air cooled.

Ford to show special edition Raptor on April 9

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

There are precious few details, but what we do know is that Ford will be revealing images of "appearance upgrades" for a special-edition 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor on April 9. The slideshow will happen during a Motor Press Guild luncheon at Ford's Design Center Showroom in Irvine, California.
Without photos or further details, we're left to wonder about the extent of these changes, but aren't expecting anything too significant given the venue. Ford is understood to be revealing a next-generation F-150 with a big weight loss - as much as 700 pounds - for 2014, though it isn't yet clear if that's the truck's model year or simply its on-sale year. For at least a couple of years, Ford forums have been suggesting changes will come with the 2014 Raptor, so there could still be a bigger surprise in store. Either way, we'll know what all this means in a little more than a week. The press release below has the official details, but for the moment, we'll content ourselves by ogling the 2013 model above.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has a bit of a dyno issue

Tue, 28 May 2013

We're of the mind that each and every dyno should come with Murphy's Law painted in big, visible letters down the side. For every ten successful dyno runs out there, it seems there's one where events to horribly wrong. Take, for example, the video below. The clip shows what happens when a Ford Shelby GT500 and a mobile dyno have a bit of a disagreement at the Performance Expo 24 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. We won't spoil the results for you, but we will say there's some substantial carnage involved.
It's unclear just how much damage ensues from the dust up or whether anyone was harmed in the incident, but from the looks of things, everyone made it out without serious injury. If only we could say the same for the machines involved. Check out the video below.
