Hello diesel family and friends!!!! Let me introduce myself.... my name is Tom my wife Joy and I have been licensed PA new and used Truck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. I came out of High School in 75 and was not college minded so I went to work at a local Pontiac GMC dealer as a mechanic trainee it did not take long for the owner to see how customer service minded I was so I went on the sales floor within a year and within 5 years was co owner, the rest is history. We have recently downsized 5 years ago sold out and went to a small mom and pop operation here in carlisle PA (E-Motors) to sell 2 or 3 trucks a month, I tried to retire but I love diesel trucks and people too darn much to quit dealing, I love my ebay customers and look forward to helping you in any way weather you buy anything from me or not. I know these 7.3 Powerstroke diesel trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks so very much. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rot and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to California Arizona and other west coast states, and deep in the south to buy a few creampuff 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast to folks who have never seen a no rust old vehicles. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it. My policy is I do not take any trades at all, I do not do financing either, I just give a super low price and high quality product, good description, high customer servsce all the way, I am also a tag agent and notary issue tags on site, I do airport pickup, rental return, do long and short shipping and have hours 7 days a week to pick this beauty up, I also do shipping nationwide or local, I have hours on call 7 days a week 9-9 I need to please you guys because I was alaways taught customers are kings I live and die by that!!!...... Please be aware I deal on a first come first served basis with deposit, I will sell on ebay or off, I do reserve the right to close auction for any cash buyer..I alaways get calls after its sold guys I sell rare hard to find trucks who knows when another will come up, if you like it buy it! feel free to contact us anytime ... thanks for the consideration Tom 717 991 0568 E Motors Carlisle PA Today I have this bad to the bone 97 Ford F250 XLT Custom Crew Cab Where would you ever find a 97 Crew 7.3 with the best color combo, West coast owner totally rust free with only 128K original miles, there may never be another one in the world.. Mechanically very good, the 7.3 fires right up good hot batteries, glow plugs ect, fresh filters, fluids. Good solid front end I just had it in for alignment, wheel balance, nice and tight down the road. Brakes, ball joints all good. Ice cold a/c, I also have a 3000.00 recipt that goes along with sale for a fresh Automatic transmission rebuild last year and all other service history. Tires are 18's and fair shape. Vehicle is stock all the way mechanically, no programmers chips ect.. Body is all factory original paint, lived its entire life in the state of Washington no rust or paint work, frame is like new as well as the entire underside. Great gloss on original graphite finish, I just removed flair fender covers and had truck detailed completely no rust under flairs, spray in liner, and more. Nice interior no rips tears or cracks, non smoker owner, truck has a ton of extras, 6" high grade suspention lift, 18" wheels, high country shocks, steering box, TRW ty rods and ball joints onboard Ford computer in interior. Everything works good stereo, fuel gauges, very impressive truck. Click on vin check see clean carfax, 128000 certified miles Please remember guys although being really nice also remember its a 17 year old pickup truck in its original state (not painted like most 97's) might possibly be the nicest 97 I ever seen but some wear and tear for sure. Stone nicks, minor scratches stuff of this nature, also remember no matter what when you alter the suspentions on any vehicle it will change the ride and handling that the factory designed it to ride like. Got the floating feeling big tires give you, I've been driving it all summer U get used to it after a few days of driving, you also need to get used to all the attention and compliments you get driving around, truck is all CLASS...and can be yours today... Ram 1500 bests new F-150 in MT pickup shootout
Tue, Nov 25 2014Ford's 2015 Ford F-150 is a technological tour-de-force, what with its aluminum-intensive construction and its powerful and efficient new 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine option. But now that it's hit the market, it's time to get down to brass tacks and find out how just the latest F-150 actually stands up to its rivals in the hyper-competitive fullsize segment. Motor Trend is among the first to round up the Ford (in Lariat 2.7-liter 4X4 guise here) and put it up against the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman EcoDiesel 4x4 and 5.3-liter-equipped Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 to find out how Dearborn's new-think truck measures up. The test put the trio through over 1,000 miles of tough driving in California and Arizona in a variety of conditions from just cruising around unladen to hauling a trailer. MT found all three trucks to be competent, but the most praise got heaped on the Ram and the Ford, with the Chevrolet falling a step behind its competitors in many tests. Among the Ford's most-liked features was its 2.7-liter, twin-turbo V6 that helped make the F-150 easily the quickest of the group, with some editors saying the engine felt about the same whether driving around with cargo in the bed or not. There was some minor turbo lag during acceleration while trailering, but that issue affected the Ram, too. The Ram's powertrain was lauded, as well. The EcoDiesel was torquey around town, and the 1500's combination of an eight-speed automatic and air suspension was judged to be the best of the lot. It was the most difficult to get into the bed, though. The Ram also won the fuel economy award by netting 20-miles-per-gallon city and 28-mpg highway in the test to beat its Environmental Protection Agency ratings of 19/27. The Ford's EcoBoost managed 17/22, one mpg off each from the EPA numbers, and using a lot of throttle really depleted its efficiency. As MT notes, however, it would take time for the diesel's mileage savings to pay off at the pump for these two trucks. In the end, the Ram just barely eked out the win, with the title partially earned because of "the Ford's unknown maintenance and aluminum repair costs," according to MT. Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.
Time to catch up with Jay Leno's Garage, including his Lamborghini Espada restoration
Tue, Dec 23 2014If you're already jealous of the time, effort and money that Jay Leno can devote to his massive car collection, prepare to get a little greener with envy with this latest video from Jay Leno's Garage. Instead of the usual format of discussing a model for about ten minutes and then taking it out for a test drive, this week Leno gives viewers on a tour of over a dozen projects concurrently happening in his stable. The breadth of the vehicles shown and the things being done to them run the entire span of the automotive hobby. At the same time, Jay's shop is working on just a simple restoration of his 1969 Lamborghini Espada (pictured), and at the other side of the building, the team is rebuilding a wood-bodied 1914 Detroit Electric from scratch. He eventually plans to slot a more modern electric drivetrain into it. If bikes are more your interest, there's a freshly completed Brough Superior just waiting for a ride, and if American models are your thing, a Ford Bronco is getting a Coyote V8 installed into it. You have some very specific tastes if you can't watch this clip and start wishing at least one of these vehicles could be in your own garage. Other than the personal projects his mechanics are working on in the shop, Jay gets to have them all, plus plenty more.
