Hello diesel family and friends, my name is Tom my wife and I have been licensed PA new and used DieselTruck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality the entire career. It is a 1 owner lifetime texas owned truck Ford dealer maintained with record, please click on vin check box I paid for car fax. She is a beauty 97 Ford F250 XLT 4x4 longbox extended cab with the 7.3 powerstroke diesel engine, I got almost 20mpg's driving home from Texas, she has only 101K all original miles! Truck is perfectly rust free never seen salt or snow yet. Beautiful all original body and paint. Frame is just new condition. Interior is good condition as well, no smells or stains, no rips or tears,good dash and headliner, ice cold a/c and all other power equip working as it was made to do so. Mechanically possibly the best one I have ever driven. Truck is tight, motor got superb pep, no leaks. I installed new ty rods, ball joints, shimmed and aligned truck steering is straight no issues no problems. Good brakes, rotors, exhaust, new Pa state insp, tranny just serviced and shifting perfectly, all original no mods just a very well kept truck with only 101K all original certified miles.. Friends if you have been waiting for the "right" truck to come along it has just arrived, best engine, best color, best miles and best of all no rust no bodywork. Some wear and tear like a stone nick or 2, probably a parking lot ding somewhere and interior wear to be expected on a 14 year old pickup, but nothing needing done or that takes away from the overall beauty of this rig guys, I'm dealing on a first come first serve basis with deposit gets it...serious calls anytime thanks 717 991 0568 tom

The hottest modern sports cars rendered as rally racers
Thu, Jan 14 2016The modern-day World Rally Championship a monumental amount of fun to watch – I should know, as I recently was lucky enough to head to the UK to watch WRC Wales Rally GB – but even the most monstrous of the current WRC cars are based on fairly pedestrian European hatchbacks. Back in the heyday of rally, the Group B era in the 1980s, much hotter cars were the basis of even more incredible competition machines, for the most part. Take the exotic Ford RS200, or the Lancia Delta S4 with its twin-charged engine. And the hatchback-based Group B cars were bonkers, too. So what would some of our favorite modern cars look like if Group B had never ended? A British site named CarWow hired an artist to reimagine everything from the Rolls-Royce Wraith to the Porsche 911 as a retro-inspired rally car, and they were kind enough to let us share the results in the gallery above. The gallery features an Alfa Romeo Giulia in Martini livery, an Audi TT in classic Ur-Quattro colors, a Fiat 500 Abarth sporting massive flares and a hood blister full of auxiliary lights, a new Ford Mustang in RS200 livery, a Lancia Delta in Alitalia colors, a Porsche 911 in Rothmans livery, a Renault-Alpine in classic blue, a Rolls-Royce Wraith tribute to the Jules cologne Corniche Coupe, and a relatively modern-looking VW Touran. So far, the favorite around the office is the incredible Mercedes-Benz S-Class that is an homage to the wonderful 300 SEL 6.8 AMG "Red Pig" that essentially put AMG on the map. Ford Police Interceptors dominate Michigan State Police testing
Tue, Nov 1 2016Once again, Ford Motor Company builds the fastest police vehicles. The Blue Oval touted the news in an official release following Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department testing. Ford did very well. Except for one acceleration metric – zero to 10 miles per hour – the Blue Oval's Taurus and Explorer-based cop cars were the quickest, with particular praise coming for the EcoBoost-powered models, which bested Chevrolet and Dodge's V8-powered variants. Dearborn's products also posted the fastest average times around MSP's vehicle dynamics course. But it wasn't all positive for Ford. The only four-cylinder in the contest, the 2.0-liter, EcoBoost Ford SSP Sedan, had both the lowest top speed, 120 mph, and the slowest acceleration figures. It was also the slowest in track testing. Ford's products also failed to match the braking and top speeds of its rivals from Detroit and Auburn Hills – the rear-drive Charger Pursuit posted the best braking stats of the entire test, while the V8-powered Chevrolet Caprice hit the highest top speed, at 155 mph. Ford did score a top speed award, among SUVs, but at 132 mph, the naturally aspirated Police Interceptor Utility had to share its award with the equally fast, rear-drive Chevrolet Tahoe. The LA County Sheriff's timing isn't publicly available, but according to Ford, the EcoBoost-powered police cars put on a similarly impressive show for cops on the West Coast. Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent
Mon, Dec 11 2017Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
