F-250 Super Duty Blizzard Edition

Here we have a gorgeous Ford diesel F-250 XLT powered by a 6.7L engine with ALL of the deletes already done! The MPG after the deletes had been
done went from a mere 13-14 to 20-22 now and it has incredible power! It is a Florida truck so it has never seen salt and is completely rust free.  This truck has had countless hours and money put into it. It has a sinister diesel egr delete kit, H&S Mini Maxx race tuner, flo-pro dpf delete, urea tank delete, 5" inch fox racing suspension lift, S&B cold air intake, Brand new custom 20" Powder Coated XD Rockstar wheels wrapped with BRAND NEW 37" Falcon WildPeak All terrain tires, limo tint windows, sync system, H&S aluminum intake kit and so much more! There is well over $75K invested in this truck This truck is a true head turner and gets attention anywhere you go. It comes with all the original manuals and a spare set of keys. The only reason I am selling is I am building a house. The interior carpets, seats and headliner are in like new condition, never smoked in or used as a work truck.  This truck has always been professionally maintained and always kept under a roof. Any questions feel free to call me at 715-296-5657. This is not a 2012 or a 2013, Thanks and good luck bidding!

The big dune jump and the damage done

Mon, 20 May 2013

The Silver Lake sand dunes see their fair share of well-built trophy trucks executing impressive jumps. Drivers build insane pieces of machinery for the express purpose of sailing through the air like mad men and women.
Mike Higgins is no stranger to the area. His heavily modified Ford trophy truck has gone flying through the sky on more than one occasion, but he recently bit off more than he could chew. After hitting a particularly lofty dune, Higgins went airborne for a ridiculous 180 feet before becoming intimately familiar with the finer points of gravity.
While Higgins nailed the jump, his landing fell short of wowing the judges. The impact very nearly broke his truck in two. Despite the mechanical mayhem, the driver walked away without a scratch, proving that occasionally miracles really do happen. You can check out the jump and the subsequent destruction below for yourself. Be warned: there's a fair bit of foul language.

Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?

Fri, May 27 2016

When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
