POWERTRAIN
Producing 325 hp and 570 lb.-ft. of torque, this F-250 is one aggressive machine. Truck drives like a dream, sounds really, really nice, responds fast, has great stability and control. This truck is so on the ground that it feels just like you are driving a dually. The transmission shifts so smooth you won't even notice it's shifting. No leaks, no smoke, no check engine lights on the gauge. All you hear is the turbo whistling with power and sounds like if the motor was tuned for racing – but it was not. It’s just the sound of a solid truck. Comes equipped with Ford Trailer Brake Control and gooseneck hitch so you know this truck has the power and is ready to haul anything.

To top everything off, this truck is extremely economic. We are getting about 17 mpg on highway @65mph. But it all depends on how you drive. Proper oil change and tire pressure also play a big role on fuel consumption, so good maintenance is the key to any truck.

This truck is very easy to maintain and the 6.0 is the best motor Ford has on the market. It combines the best features of all the motors from the last decade - it's fast like the 6.4, but reliable and easy to work on like the 7.3.

EXTERIOR
The truck is as clean as you can get. Being a southern truck you now there are no surprises and specially no rust. The blue and gray color combination is one of my personal favorites. The wheel lip moldings give it a nice touch and the chrome package make this truck looks very sharp. We installed a small lift kit on the truck just to make it look a little nicer.  There's a full size, matching wheel for a spare under the truck.

INTERIOR
Interior reflects the mileage for sure. It’s clean and overall excellent condition. Leather on seats are in great condition, with only wear signs on the corner of driver seat and arm rest. Bust rest assures that seats were never painted! Carpet is overall great condition, no rips and no stains. Dash looks nice and neat. All power windows, door locks, power mirrors work. AC blows super cold. CD player works fine.

Truck is priced right to make new owner happy with the purchase. And we strongly believe this truck is worth every penny you will pay for!!! We encourage you to come see and drive the truck as we believe it's way better in person than on the pictures, but for now we let the pictures do the talking.

PLEASE READ!
I made a huge mistake on the description of the truck - I said it was a 8 feet bed, well actually it's a 6 3/4 short bed so I apologize for the inconvenience.
Everything else is accurate and described with the best our knowledge.
We prefer salvage over clean titles for a number of reasons being the big savings the top on the list. If the KBB value of this truck with a clean title is $28k, you will grab this for at least $10k less.
It will drive and serve you the exact same way. And when you sell it, you will get all your money back, or at least  most of it - opposed to the amount you will loose on depreciation with a clean title.
Pictures came out a little darker than I would like them to, anyway it's a beautiful truck worth coming to check it out.

GM and Ford quarterly sales continue to slump in China

Fri, Jul 5 2019

BEIJING — General Motors and Ford announced their quarterly sales in China fell, albeit at a slower pace sequentially, as the U.S. automakers were hit by a slowing economy amid the Sino-U.S. trade war. GM's vehicle sales in China for the quarter ended June 30 dropped 12.2%, while Ford's sales slumped by 21.7%. While GM also suffered from heightened competition in its key mid-priced SUV segment, Ford was hurt by the limited new models for customers to choose from. For the first quarter of this year, Ford's sales in China tumbled 35.8 percent while GM's skid 17.5 percent. Still, the numbers from GM, the second biggest international automaker in China by sales, and Ford portend more uncertainty for the industry which is trying to rebound from a downward spiral that led to its first annual sales decline last year in more than two decades. GM delivered 1.57 million vehicles in China in the January-June period this year, while Ford delivered 290,321 vehicles. China's factory activity shrank more than expected in June, highlighting the need for more economic stimulus amid higher U.S. tariffs and weaker domestic demand. Annual car sales in China fell last year for the first time since the 1990s, and they are expected to fall this year too. Sales tumbled 16.4% in May from the same month a year prior, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said. That marked the 11th consecutive month of decline and followed falls of 14.6% in April and 5.2% in March. U.S. car companies' share of total China passenger vehicles sales fell to 9.6% in the first five months of this year from 10.9% in the year-ago period, according to CAAM. Over the same period, German car makers' share has risen to 23.3% from 20.9% and Japanese auto makers' to 21.3% from 17.3%. CAAM is set to announce June sales next week, which industry analysts forecast will be negative.   New models In China, GM has a joint venture with SAIC Motor Corp, in which the Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac are made. It also has another venture, with SAIC and GuangxiAutomobile Group, in which they make no-frills minivans and have started to make higher-end cars. Sales of GM's affordable brand Baojun dropped 31.8% for the latest quarter. But luxury brand Cadillac's sales jumped 36.6%. GM sold 3.64 million units in China last year, down from 4.04 units in 2017. Ford makes cars in China through its joint venture with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co and Jiangling Motors Corp (JMC).

Ford could make as much as $13k profit for every F-150

Thu, Apr 30 2015

The Ford F-Series is a perennial member of the US bestseller list with the title in its brawny grasp for over 30 years, and the truck ranks as the top-selling model over $50,000 in the country. It shouldn't come as a shock then that the model is a major buttress of Ford's bottom line. Have you ever wondered just how vital the trucks are to the Blue Oval's health, though? Some math based on recent figures suggests they might be even more important than you think. Automotive News recently did the calculation and came up with that each F-150 sold contributed about $13,333 to the company's profits. That number was based on a statement from Ford CFO Bob Shanks that the automaker could have made another $1 billion in North America for the first quarter with a repeat of last year's sales of the F-150 and Edge, with 60,000 more trucks and 15,000 additional crossovers. If those 75,000 missing vehicles cost the company $1 billion, then they averaged $13,333 each. Also, the F-150 makes up 80 percent of the lost sales, so you might even conclude that each pickup brings even more money into Ford. Automotive News also extrapolates further. Based on a forecast of 800,000 F-Series sales this year, that's about $10.7 billion going into Ford's coffers. Obviously, these figures are far from exact since they are based on a single statement from the automaker's CFO. Autoblog reached out to Ford to see if the numbers were accurate, but the Blue Oval wouldn't comment on vehicle profitability. However, AutoPacific analyst Dave Sullivan suggests these figures could be on the right track, if a bit high. "The rough guess has been $10,000. Obviously that is a little different for a $60k truck vs a regular cab 4x2 work truck, but $10,000 is the ball park that is used," he said to Autoblog. If you ever wonder why Ford might be loathe to bring the smaller Ranger back to the US when it's available elsewhere, these huge profits are likely part of the answer. The Blue Oval has little reason to cut into the sales of a model that makes the brand billions. Related Video:

Detroit automakers keep their masks on to keep the factories running

Tue, Oct 27 2020

United Auto Workers members leave the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Warren Truck Plant in May. Fiat Chrysler along with rivals Ford and General Motors Co., restarted the assembly lines after several weeks of coronavirus lockdown. (AP)   DETROIT — When the coronavirus pandemic slammed the United States in March, the Detroit Three automakers shut their plants and brought their North American vehicle production to an unprecedented cold stop. Now, four months after a slow and sometimes bumpy restart in May, many General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles  factories are working at close to full speed, chasing a stronger-than-expected recovery in sales. So far, none of the Detroit Three has had a major COVID-19 outbreak since restarting production, even as the coronavirus is surging in Midwestern and Southern communities outside factory walls. "We have people testing positive, but it's not affecting operations," said Ford global manufacturing chief Gary Johnson. Keeping the pandemic at bay has pushed the automakers and 156,000 U.S. factory employees represented by the United Auto Workers into unfamiliar work routines and extraordinary levels of cooperation among the rival automakers that will have to be sustained for months to come. For automakers, the automakers' COVID response has been as much about instilling new habits as relying on new technology. Workers log their symptoms, or lack of them, into smartphone apps and walk past temperature scanners to get to their work stations. But company and union executives said masks, along with physical distancing, are the key to keeping assembly lines rolling. "The mask is the foundation" of protecting workers on the job, said Johnson. Complaints about masks Autoworkers are accustomed to wearing protective gear such as shatterproof glasses and gloves. Masks that cover the mouth and nose, however, were not standard equipment on auto assembly lines, and were a tough sell at first. "The biggest complaint is wearing a mask," United Auto Workers President Rory Gamble told Reuters. "A lot of our members perform physical tasks. Wearing the mask inhibits breathing." Beyond that, Gamble said, masks and distancing make it harder for workers to have conversations on the job or socialize during breaks. "ThatÂ’s pretty much out the window, and it makes for a longer day," he said. Masks make it harder for co-workers to read each other's expressions — often crucial in the noisy environment of a car plant.
