You are bidding on our 2006 F250 that we got from a customer that owed us money and took this in as partial payment. We narrowed it down right away to a faulty head gasket. You will see down below of what was done to the engine and it now runs top notch! I would trust it like I trust my 7.3 Ford. THIS IS BEING RELISTED BECAUSE BUYER BACKED OUT WITHOUT REASON!!

Exterior. This is a 2006 Ext Cab Grey. The body is a 7.5-8 out of 10, it has a few nicks and scratches on which I posted for its age. It has backup sensors, window tints, bush wacker fender flares, rhino line coated lower panels and plasti dipped badges and grille. It has also has power heated telescope towing mirrors. The previous owner did a 5' Lift Kit along with some Killer 20" XD Series Rims to add the mean look. The tread is about 60% on the tires.

Interior. It is a tan cloth, with every power option including, mirrors, seats, door locks, cruise, factory brake control and parking light sensors. It also has a kenwood double din GPS, DVD Naviagtion Touch Screen in Dash. The interior is a about a 8 out of 10 and the only downfall is it has a small rip on driver seat and the center console is peeling. Other then that its like brand new.

Engine. This is a 150k 6.0 Diesel engine. Like above we took it in with a bad head gasket. It has a List of New Parts including Ford Factory Head Gaskets, ARP Studs, New Oil Cooler, New EGR Cooler, 2 New Batteries, New Heater Core, New Oil Stand Pipes, new radiator, reman alternator, K&N style cone Air Filter and much more. The truck runs top notch and have over 2000 miles on it since we did all the work. I would trust this truck to drive across the country its running that great. The previous owner said the trans we replaced by ford at one point under warranty.

We are running this auction at NO RESERVE this is a great truck and someone will get a great deal. We expect a paypal deposit of 300.00 right after auction ends and rest of payment cash in hand with in 48 hours unless otherwise arranged. Ford sued over alleged 3.5-liter EcoBoost defects

Thu, 16 May 2013

Three Ford owners from Ohio have filed a lawsuit against the automaker over defects that they allege exist within the company's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine. Automotive News reports that the lawsuit claims the engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects." Those defects, the suit claims, cause the vehicle to shake, misfire and lose power quickly.
Two of the plaintiffs, a married couple, own a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, and allege they experienced a loss of power and stalling, while the third, an F-150 owner, claims he lost power while accelerating. In addition to the Taurus SHO and F-150, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine is also available in the Ford Flex, Explorer Sport and Lincoln MKT and MKS. Other three- and four-cylinder EcoBoost engines are not included in the suit. There have been no recalls associated with 3.5-liter V6 engine, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently not investigating the matter.
The plaintiffs, however, claim Ford has known about the problem, citing several technical service bulletins issued to dealers of the F-150 that suggest possible fixes. Ford had no comment for Automotive News, saying that it's yet to review the lawsuit, which was filed last Friday in Columbus, OH.

Which is more fuel efficient, driving with a pickup's tailgate up or down?

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Thanks to the smoke wand in the wind tunnel, you can actually see the difference in our video.
Should you drive with your pickup truck's tailgate up or down? It's an age-old controversy that's divided drivers for decades. Traditionalists will swear you should leave the tailgate down. Makes sense, right? It would seem to let the air flow more cleanly over the body and through the bed. But there's also a school of thought that argues trucks are designed to look and operate in a specific manner, and modern design techniques can help channel the airflow properly. So don't mess with all of that: Leave the tailgate up.
