This is a great driving and handling truck. Tracks straight and drives like a stocker, stops fast and straight, no pulling at all even with the big LT365/65-16 Toyo Tires. Speaking of tires, it is due for new ones and I have considered this in setting my reserve price. Other negatives about this truck is that the tailgate is bent outward, something heavy got on it. (see pics) but it is hard to tell with the gate closed. It still opens and closes well, you just have to open it with a little upward pressure on the handle, it shuts normally. Needs a radio antenna, There is a pair of small dents in the roof caused by a tree limb. I forgot to photograph it but I will provide a pic if asked. The back sliding glass had a leak and it has stained the back seat. I discovered this when it rained 10 inches in just 2 days last week. Light to medium rain didn't seem to be an issue. The stains should come out if detailed. I think I have the leak fixed now but will not know for sure until another downpour. Average wear on the drivers seat with a small thin/open area. Some rust on the wheels and caps. One dent on the right front side of the bed, good luck seeing it in the pics. small dent on the driver side front bumper, again, hardly noticeable. Truck has a 4 or 6 inch Super Lift kit. I have had this truck a couple years and I hardly ever drive it. I have a bad hip and it is much easier to get in and out of my "small" GMC. I had 3 new injectors and a new 4wd switch installed last year at the Ford Dealer. Everything on the truck works well, ice cold air, cruise, lights, etc. Selling because I have issues getting in and out and the fact that I have 3 other trucks and a car...I just need to thin the heard and this truck is driven very little. I can't think of any other issues not covered above. Look at the pics, ASK QUESTIONS and do your research, as I did.
I DO OWE SOME MONEY ON THIS TRUCK SO THE TITLE IS BEING HELD BY USAA. HOWEVER, THIS SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM FOR US TO WORK AROUND.
These are "average" trade-in values for this truck as of last week. Retail prices are $2-3k more:
NADA: $9,350 Kelley Blue Book: $10,233 Edmunds: $10,467
My reserve price is lower than all of them so bid to win. I have done my best to describe this truck accurately as well as documenting it in the photos. This truck will be sold as is with no warranty or guarantees. I welcome all questions and will work with any serious buyer. The buyer will be responsible for arranging inspections, shipping and or pick up of this truck. There are two airports nearby.

Roush getting back into sport compact business with Focus ST mods [w/video]
Wed, 29 May 2013Roush Performance offers a whole raft of parts for folks looking to tune their Ford Mustang and F-150 models, and now Focus owners can start getting in on the hotted-up action, too. Owners of the 2012-13 Focus and 2013 Focus ST can now get a Roush cold-air intake system, and ST owners can also opt for a high-performance cat-back exhaust.
Although all of these components are now available for order, the parts will ship sometime in July; no word yet on pricing. Down the road, Roush will also offer styling upgrades for the Focus as well as performance tuning upgrades such as engine controller, suspension, wheels and tires. Scroll down for a quick video of what the Focus ST exhaust sounds like, as well as a Roush press release.
Ford C-Max spot aimed squarely at Cadillac ELR 'Poolside' hubris [UPDATE]
Thu, Mar 27 2014If we had tried to predict the first video response to the controversial Poolside video for the Cadillac ELR, we would not have thought it would center on compost. But, hey, it's always nice to be reminded that the real world is sometimes better than fiction. Instead of the chic swagger of 'Poolside,' 'Anything Is Possible' is all about getting dirty. The new short in question is called Upside: Anything Is Possible and it promotes two things: Detroit Dirt and the Ford C-Max Energi. As in the ELR ad, Ford's plug-in C-Max only makes an appearance at the tail end of the spot, but instead of the chic swagger of Poolside, Anything Is Possible is all about getting dirty. The ad stars Pashon Murray, co-founder of Detroit Dirt, which takes natural waste from around Detroit, composts it into soil and then spreads that around "forgotten parcels" of Detroit to create urban farms. Detroit Dirt gets its bio-waste from a lot of sources, including the Detroit Zoological Society (all that herbivore manure has to go somewhere), Ford and General Motors, but this particular ad was the idea of Ford's PR agency, Team Detroit. It was a frenetic shoot, filmed with an LA-based director right after a big winter storm blew through Detroit, and Murray couldn't be happier with the result. "This was Ford Motor Company pushing my story, letting me tell the story that I believe in," Murray tells AutoblogGreen. "I get to help push this car and I get to tell my story." She says that the Team Detroit and Ford had to agree on the message, "from my understanding, [YouTube] is where they wanted to start, not where they wanted to finish." The ad is already getting a positive response on Twitter, so we won't be surprised if it shows up in more places soon. "It's not saying Ford is better than GM. It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." As Detroit Dirt has off-screen support from both GM and Ford, it's unsurprising to hear Murray say that the video "is not a rivalry thing." She notes that the ad agency Team Detroit came to her and offered to tell the Detroit Dirt story using the framework of the GM ad. "It's a parody on this commercial, but it's not saying Ford is better than GM," she said. "It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." What is that story? It's about urban farming, recovery and recycling. Murray tells us that for the last seven or eight years, she's been dedicated to sustainability.
Truckmakers squabbling over who can sell Jimmy Fallon a pickup
Sat, 08 Mar 2014Snagging a celebrity endorsement is a big deal for automakers, as evidenced by the recent efforts of the Detroit Three to try and woo The Tonight Show's newest host, Jimmy Fallon, into one of their trucks.
After announcing during Wednesday night's show that he was in the market for a pickup truck, Fallon set off a firestorm of efforts on Twitter, with both Ford and Chevrolet petitioning the funnyman to test out a truck. According to Ad Age, Ford recommended the King Ranch edition of its next-generation F-150 while the show was still airing. Chevy, meanwhile, waited until the next morning to pitch a Silverado to Fallon.
The winner of this social media feeding frenzy, though, was Ram. Promoting a variation of its "Guts, Glory, Ram" tagline, the Auburn Hills-based manufacturer created the hashtag #GUTSGLORYFallon. It even went so far as to park a Ram 1500 outside 30 Rockefeller Center in New York, where The Tonight Show is filmed. On the back of the Ram sat a sign, reading "Big enough, Jimmy? Test it out," referencing a joke from the Wednesday show.
