2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 6.0l on 2040-cars
Pflugerville, Texas, United States
I am selling my 2003 F-250. I recently purchased a new dually so I can haul a bigger trailer. This truck pulls my 28' travel trailer just fine but I am starting to haul heavier loads which require a 1-ton. I still drive this truck on occasion so the odometer may change a little. Currently it reads 195,283. I just had some new injectors installed and 2 brand new heavy duty Interstate batteries. The truck runs great and starts up every time. The only thing I have noticed over the years is it takes a minute to start if the truck sits for a while. (But it always starts) I always keep BFG's on my trucks and these tires still have life left on them. All the power seats, windows, locks and 4-wheel drive are still in great operating condition. It has a spray in bedliner, running boards, 6-disc cd changer, Superchip Programmer, towing package and a grill guard. I average around 15mpg but that can change depending on your driving habits. The company logos will be removed upon the sell of the truck. Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Mustang driver proves wheels are overrated
Mon, 21 Apr 2014We don't need to tell you that there's something missing in the image above. What we do need to tell you is that this is not a picture of a parked car stranded on the highway. This is, rather, just one frame from video of that three-wheeled Mustang traveling down the highway at highway-appropriate speed.
We don't know where you'd have to be nor how badly you'd have to be there to go shooting down the freeway in a car with three wheels, but if the New Daily News is correct, that place is somewhere in Texas. The video's short, but you'll have plenty of time to shake your head at it by just scrolling down.
Ford builds Lightweight Concept with Fusion shell [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014It's a fairly well known fact that removing weight from a car is essentially a panacea for many of the modern automobiles problems. Does it handle like crap? Remove weight. Underpowered? Don't add power; trim the fat. Need to improve fuel economy? It's diet time.
Actually executing a major weight reduction program, though, much like with human beings, is no easy task. Unlike you or I, where motivation is the issue, the prohibitive measure in trimming a car's waistline is money. Lightweight materials are expensive, with carbon fiber and carbon-fiber reinforced plastic still primarily in the domain of higher end vehicles. Even aluminum construction, pioneered on a mass-produced level by Audi and Jaguar, is only now starting to make its way into the mainstream, thanks to the upcoming Ford F-150.
With this concept, though, Ford is attempting to show that a mass-produced, lightweight vehicle isn't too far off. This is the Lightweight Concept, and while it may look like a Fusion, it weighs as much as a Fiesta. For reference, the lightest Fusion available to the public is the 3,323-pound, 2.5-liter model with a manual transmission. A manually equipped, 1.6-liter Fiesta, meanwhile, is just 2,537 pounds.
J Mays' legacy
Fri, 15 Nov 2013
Mays is by far not the first designer to use heritage design cues in his work.
The announcement that J Mays will be leaving his chief creative officer role at Ford Motor Company on January 1 ends a 13-year run in one of the industry's top design roles. While best known for having a hand in reborn classics like the Volkswagen New Beetle, Ford Mustang and Thunderbird (above), Mays' legacy is more complicated and nuanced than being considered the father of what is known as "retrofuturism".
