UP FOR SALE IS A 1998 FORD F250. THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES. IT HAS A STRONG V8 ENIGINE WITH 191000 MILES. THE MILES ARE ACCURATE BUT I CHECKED THE WRONG BOX WHEN I REGISTERED IT SO ON THE TITILE IT SAYS THE MILEAGE EXCEDES MECHANICAL LIMITS. LIKE WITH MOST OLDER CARS IT HAS SOME ISSUES. IT NEEDS NEW BRAKES FRONT BRAKES AND THERE IS A SMALL LEAK IN THE REAR BRAKE LINE. THE REAR SHACKLE MOUNTS RUSTED OUT AND THE LEAF SPRINGS PUSHED THROUGH THE BED OF THE TRUCK. I HAD IT FIXED BUT WHEN THE MECHANIC WAS BRINGING IT DOWN OFF THE LIFT HE NOTICED SOME RUST AND A CRACK IN THE FRAME. THE TRUCK HAS A GAS LEAK I BELIEVE IT IS IN THE FILL NECK AS IT SEEMS TO ONLY LEAK WHILE THE TRUCK IS FILLING UP. THE FRONT WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED AND SHOULD BE REPLACED, THE REAR SLIDING WINDOW IS NOT CRACKED BUT IT DOES NOT LOCK WHICH HAS COME IN HANDY FOR ME BECAUSE I TEND TO LOCK MY KEYS IN MY CAR. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON FOR A VACUUM LEAK. AND THE TAILPIPE HAS SEPARATED FROM THE MUFFLER AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED OR WELDED BACK TOGETHER. ALSO THE KEY ONLY WORKS THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND NOT THE PASSENGER. I HAVE TAKEN A LOT OF PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE ON THE CAR BUT IF I HAVE MISSED SOMETHING OR YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WANT TO SEE THE TRUCK YOU CAN CALL ME AT 9083428257 OR YOU CAN MESSAGE ME ON E BAY. THE TRUCK IS LOCATED IN WHIPPANY NJ

Mulally wanted to kill Lincoln as late as last year, Fields vows to turn it around

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

Lincoln fans might want to give incoming Ford CEO Mark Fields a pat on the back for having a hand in saving the brand from the chopping block last year. He's among the people spearheading the rejuvenation of the division away from its stodgy image to appeal to younger customers.
According to two unnamed sources speaking to Bloomberg, CEO Alan Mulally was ready to kill Lincoln last year. Following the slow production ramp-up of the MKZ combined a with a costly ad campaign, Mulally was frustrated and openly suggested dropping the brand. However, Fields and Jim Farley, Ford's marketing boss, convinced the CEO that the brand was worth saving. They also created a plan to prevent similar problems for new models in the future.
It seems that one part of the strategy may involve waiting until new models are at dealers before starting a big ad campaign for them. Lincoln global director, Matt VanDyke, recently told Autoblog that the division is holding off on a full marketing push behind the new MKC crossover to prevent the supply problems that plagued the MKZ last year. Its big offensive begins in the fall when the CUVs are at all of the dealers and consumers are at home watching more TV. VanDyke also told Bloomberg that Fields, Farley and Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas, have more direct oversight over new product launches now.

2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. takes his dog for a drift

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.
