I have for sale a 1997 Ford F250HD. This truck is being sold as a parts truck. I have a clear title in hand and if you would like to have the title under your name I am willing to send it in and have it changed over to my name and then to yours. If there are any questions regarding this please ask before bidding. Now to start with the truck. I bought this truck to fix another wrecked truck. I took the front end including all body parts the radiator and the AC condensor off the front along with the front radiator support along with all of the lights. Other than that the rest is there. I drove the truck before taking it apart and the transmission shifted great through all of the gears. The transfer case also worked fine along with all of the 4X4 drive train. As you can tell by the pictures I have parted out some other parts of the truck. Most of the plastic on the inside has been taken off the truck as well as the bed. The seats are all in good condition but the center seat does have a broken lid but other than that it is also in good condition. The wheels on the truck are stock aluminum wheels. The tires on the truck are 70% still in great condition. The hood to the truck is included and has what I belive to be rock dents only because the rest of the truck shows no signs of hail damage. The motor is a 460 with 138000 miles on it. When I bought the truck I was told that it had a blown head gasket. There is water in the oil and I never looked further into the problem. I am selling the truck as a parts truck as stated before. Although I do not ship I would be willing to work out a deal if it has been planned before the end of auction. I do reserve the right to end the auction early due to the vehicle being for sale locally as well. The vehicle does not have a warrenty nore are any applied. Ford, GM to collaborate on 9- and 10-speed transmissions

Back in October, there were reports that General Motors and Ford Motor Company were hard at work co-developing new nine- and ten-speed automatic transmissions, and now both automakers have confirmed this joint operation. While there are no specific vehicles mentioned to receive either transmission, a collaborative press release issued by GM and Ford mention that the transmission will be designed for front- and rear-wheel-drive cars, crossovers, trucks and SUVs.
These aren't the first powertrain components developed jointly between these cross-town rivals, either. The six-speed automatic currently used in vehicles like the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Equinox was engineered in a similar fashion. As is the case with this existing transmission, both automakers will assist in the design, development and testing of the new transmissions, but each will build its own units in its own factories. Of all the OEMs making appearances at the 2014 SEMA show, Ford owns arguably the most significant group of vehicles, thanks to its new 2015 F-150 and Mustang. While you can look for our Mustang coverage soon, we've managed to sneak out and get snaps of some of a few of the F-150s on display at the company's sprawling, 20,000-square-foot display (look for even more aftermarket F-150 goodness in the coming days).
