This truck was purchased from and insurance company with a repairable salvage title. We specialize in late model high end cars and trucks. This truck had very minor damage to the front right corner. The ONLY parts replaced were: Right front fender, Right front headlamp, Front bumper bar, Grille, Front bumper cover, Right front wheel(Due to curb rash, tire was okay), Right front upper control arm. The truck did not have any damage to the frame rails and ran and drove when it was damaged. Nothing mechanical or engine cooling related was damaged in any way. The only parts painted were the right front fender and the upper bumper cover. The rest of the truck is factory finish. Absolutely no signs of previous repairs. This truck was driven to Quantico, Virginia a few weeks ago to visit family and has been driven over 4,000 miles since the repairs. The truck is daily driven and miles are subject to change slightly. This truck was completely and professionally repaired. The truck has been taken to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and inspected and given a Rebuilt/Previous Salvage title.

The truck had been extremely well taken care of before the accident and was very clean when it came in from auction. This thing was someones baby.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has a bit of a dyno issue

We're of the mind that each and every dyno should come with Murphy's Law painted in big, visible letters down the side. For every ten successful dyno runs out there, it seems there's one where events to horribly wrong. Take, for example, the video below. The clip shows what happens when a Ford Shelby GT500 and a mobile dyno have a bit of a disagreement at the Performance Expo 24 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. We won't spoil the results for you, but we will say there's some substantial carnage involved.
It's unclear just how much damage ensues from the dust up or whether anyone was harmed in the incident, but from the looks of things, everyone made it out without serious injury. If only we could say the same for the machines involved. Check out the video below.

Ford EcoBoost V6 hits the dyno before hitting the track

Ford Racing just unveiled the Riley Daytona Prototype that will make its racing in the United SportsCar Racing Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona in January, and now it has released a video showing development of twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the car. Using the same block and heads that can be found on a production Ford Taurus SHO, this new racecar benefits from the collaboration between Ford Racing and Ford powertrain engineers.
While we still don't know what kind of power this engine is putting out, it has definitely gotten a workout at Ford's 17G dyno. This area deep within Ford allows the automaker's racing program to work hand-in-hand with production engine programs, which can be a benefit to racing operations and production cars alike. The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks.
