FORD RANGER F150 XLT

ENGINE 460 V8

It runs great!  This pickup was originally set up to run with Natural Gas...Propane or regular Unleaded Gas.
I am the second owner after purchasing this beauty from an auction.
It has never been in an accident.
I'm the second owner and I've had the truck since 2000.
I have always had it taken care of by my local auto repair shop.
This truck will make someone very happy...and I hate to let it go.
The original owner I understood was a horse man who only drove it to bring his horses to the vet which is why the low mileage, on my title under ODOMETER it states EXEMPT.  I drove around some and added two photos of the Odometer one before my drive and one after my drive.

This is the third time listing and I've brought the price down from $4,500.00 so my price is now firm.  At this price I might as well keep "Old Faithful," for the next generation of kids.

A few years back, I was having trouble switching from Natural Gas to Unleaded so I had my local car man switch it to only Unleaded.  I let out the Propane gas and felt better just running it as an Unleaded Gasoline truck, but my car man said it could be switched back if someone wanted it as a Natural Gas truck.

It starts good, rare factory A/C, blows good, radio, a center bed ball hitch, a beautiful long seat (see photo), a tool box under the hood, a light green and white color and chrome trim.  I believe the transmission is a C7.  I've been asked if that is the original paint...(the color bends around the door) so I think so.  Travels good without any problems.  Things to be aware of is that It has some rust (see photo), a few dings (see photo), fuel meter seems to stick or does not show fuel tank being full.  If parked it will drip oil, not bad, about pancake size if it sits there for a week or so.

It has a neat metal spring rack on the cab's ceiling for holding your Cowboy hat.  This beautiful classic is sold as is.

$500.00 Paypal down, the rest with cash and notarizing of Bill of Sales / Sold As Is  at First National Bank in Weatherford, Oklahoma  73096.  If someone wants to buy it at $3,900.00 I will end the auction early, but will still require a $500.00 deposit through Paypal to end the auction early and then the $3,400.00 can be paid with cash at the bank.  Sorry no checks or cashier's checks.

I can pick you up at the Will Rodgers Airport if flying in, it's about an hour away, and the truck is road worthy with good tires.

Thank you.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hertz Penske GT latest hot Ford Mustang at the rental counter

Tue, 09 Jul 2013

Just a couple days after announcing the resurrection of its Rent-A-Racer program, Hertz has revealed a new car being added to its Adrenalin Collection of rental cars. To signify its new partnership with Penske Racing in NASCAR, Hertz introduced a limited-edition version of the Ford Mustang GT, officially called the Hertz Penske GT, at last weekend's NASCAR races in Daytona. If you're like us, the rental specials remind with the original 1966 Shelby GT350-H and its later homage, the 2006 Shelby GT-H.
Visually, the Hertz Penske GT starts out with a black and yellow paint and graphics scheme as well as identifying badges, and Hertz has raided the Mustang parts bin for bits and bobs like a Boss 302 front splitter and Shelby GT500 rear valence to give the coupe its own unique look. The model has also receives performance improvements including upgraded suspension and exhaust, Brembo brakes, a retuned ECU and Recaro bucket seats. As a bonus, Penske Racing's Nationwide Series No. 22 Ford Mustang has been painted to match the new Hertz Penske GT. Other cars in the Hertz Adrenaline Collection include the standard version of the Ford Mustang GT, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Chevrolet Corvette convertible and Dodge Challenger R/T. Scroll down for the official press release for the Hertz Penske GT, or you can always head to your local Hertz airport location to see if they have one on the lot.

Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost sales robust in early going

Tue, 13 May 2014

Okay, okay, okay, so I was just a smidge wrong. Those that read my review of the Ford Fiesta with the new 1.0-liter, EcoBoost engine will know that while I really enjoyed the torquey little three-cylinder, I was concerned that Ford's decision to force 1.0-liter owners into a manual transmission, steel wheels and one trim level might hurt sales of the new engine. I was also concerned that the promised 45-mile-per-gallon highway rating wouldn't be enough to tempt buyers into trying an engine that's so far outside of what the general public is use to. My concerns, though, seem to have been for naught.
While not doing a booming business on the triple-equipped Fiesta, Ford is seeing a take rate of four to eight percent per month in the engine's first few months on sale. Now, four to eight percent might not sound like a lot - if, like last year, the Fiesta sells around 71,000 units, there'd be barely 5,600 1.0-liter models on the road. It is also small potatoes relative to the take rate on EcoBoost-equipped vehicles across the Ford range, which US sales analyst Erich Merkle estimates to be roughly 35 to 40 percent of retail sales. Still, according to The Detroit News, the 1.0-liter is getting adopted at roughly the same rate as the sparkling Fiesta ST, which should be a solid indication of just how well this little engine is doing.
The 1.0-liter's success "really speaks volumes, not just to what we're doing with the Fiesta, but with EcoBoost in general," Merkle told Autoblog.

Ford opens 88 new dealerships in China in a single day

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

"Ford opened 88 dealerships in China last year." "Ford opened 88 dealerships in China during the first half of 2014." "Ford opened 88 dealerships in China last month." None of those statements - even the last one - would seem unbelievable. Saying "Ford opened up 88 dealerships in China last Thursday," though, is a bit more dramatic.
Yes, on June 19 alone, Ford opened the doors on nearly 100 showrooms in the People's Republic, boosting the Blue Oval's total presence in the country to 750 dealerships. Of course, while an overabundance of dealers in the US proved troublesome for American manufacturers back in 2008 and 2009, there's no such concern in China. Considering the country's huge population and the breakneck pace of the local auto industry, you could be forgiven for being surprised Ford only has 750 outlets at this stage.
What's notable about this most recent push, besides the sheer volume of new stores, is their location. Over three-quarters of the new dealerships are in so-called Tier 4 cities, which are smaller towns that still contain millions of people. This fits with Ford's strategy in China of avoiding the bigger battlegrounds that are already dominated by competitors and focusing on setting up shop in newer markets that may have been overlooked, according to Automotive News.
