2013 Ford F-150 Raptor Svt Crew Cab Loaded Nav 801a on 2040-cars
Provo, Utah, United States
One Owner, Super Clean, Crew Cab, Fully Loaded 2013 Raptor - No Reserve Auction! No, there is nothing wrong with the truck, but I am confident that it will bring fair market value as many have already expressed interest in it. If you are looking at this truck, you probably already have a good idea of what you are looking at, but in case you don't -- Not all Raptors are created equally! This truck has the 801A (Luxury) Package and was ordered with EVERY OPTION except the Graphics (decals) Package and the Beadlock wheels. I personally did not like the beadlocks that Ford introduced so I didn't order mine with them. I am the first and only owner of this incredible truck. I ordered it in February of 2013 and took delivery on May 8th of last year through Jordan Ford of San Antonio. This truck has always been garaged and was purchased to be a toy for occasional driving - after the first week of owning it, I couldn't get enough of it and it became my daily driver, used to commute to and from my office. All of the miles are were easy miles with absolutely ZERO off-roading or hot-rodding. This truck has been babied. I can also provide documentation that shows an average of 14.3 MPG since new with very little highway driving. My office is my primary destination and it is 8 miles away through town. This truck has every factory option which includes upgrades that some Raptors don't have such as:
The wheels and all chrome trim have all been blacked out with plasti-dip but can be returned to factory. The blacked out look is very popular, but very few people have done it as well as it is done on this Raptor while keeping stock equipment. The plastidip was professionally done and really looks excellent. If you do not want it, the track can be returned to factory very easily. I added about $1500 worth of LED lighting - a 20 inch Dual Row LED Bar on the front and 2 sets of Dually LEDs (floods and spots). The lights were professionally routed to the Raptor's provided Aux switches. I also added the Craven Stubby Antennae, I will include the factory antennae, the factory plastic grill for the lower valence where the 20" LED bar is, the factory front license plate bracket and the factory fuel can adapter. Everything else is stock. Still has factory warranty for 23 months or 20K more miles. I have all paperwork, dealer window sticker, build sheet, maintenance records (just oil changes and routine service), both sets of keys, etc... Checkout the pictures to get an idea of just how clean this truck is - Run a carfax, you will see that this truck has perfect history with me being the only owner - Nothing to hide, its a great Raptor. Never had a single problem, this truck has been a dream. I hate to sell it, but its time to move on to another toy. For more pictures or questions, feel free to call or text: 830-237-7664 The clerical aspect of the sale of this truck will be run through Trophy Motors out of New Braunfels Texas. The truck is currently located at my home in Utah, just south of Salt Lake City. I am purchasing a new toy through Trophy Motors so I will be "trading in" this truck to maintain my tax trade in credit and the buyer will be purchasing the truck from Trophy Motors. For buyers outside of the state of Texas, all this means is that the dealership will process the purchase and issue you a buyers order/out of state sales form and it is up to you what you do with it back in your state as far as registration etc.. go. If you intend on financing the purchase through your bank, they can and will communicate with Trophy Motors which will be easier for everyone anyways! The buyer is responsible for the cost and setting up of transport of the vehicle after purchase. I am willing to help in any way that I can to make it easier on you - If you want to pick it up yourself, I am happy to arrange transportation from the Salt Lake City Airport and do whatever we can for a smooth transaction. |

Ford To Unveil Solar Hybrid Concept Car At CES
Thu, Jan 2 2014Ford plans to unveil at this month's International CES gadget show a solar-powered concept car that offers the same performance as a plug-in hybrid but without the need for a plug. The C-Max Solar Energi Concept car uses a gasoline engine combined with a gizmo that acts like a magnifying glass to concentrate the sun's rays on the vehicle's roof-mounted solar panels. The automaker says the vehicle's estimated combined city-highway mileage is 100 miles (160 kilometers) per gallon. The U.S. auto maker says that by using solar power instead of an electric plug, a typical owner will reduce their annual greenhouse gas emissions by four metric tons. The company says it sold about 85,000 hybrid or electric vehicles in 2013, including 6,300 units of its C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid. The sun-ray concentrator was developed by researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology and uses what is known as a Fresnel lens, which concentrates light but can be made thinner than a conventional lens. A full day of sunshine is equivalent to a four-hour battery charge, or 8 kilowatts, Ford says. On a full charge, it should have a range of 620 miles (997 kilometers), the same as the C-Max Energi. The concept car also comes with a plug-in port for standard electric charging. Ford says that 75 percent of all trips made by an average driver could be powered by the sun. After showing off the concept car at the convention in Las Vegas Jan. 7-10, Ford Motor Co. says that it will test the vehicle with institute researchers to determine if it's feasible for mass production. Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn
Sun, 30 Mar 2014Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.
Mustang parts under the new Lincoln Aviator mean good things for Ford
Wed, Mar 28 2018NEW YORK — As we mentioned last night, underneath the new Lincoln Aviator "concept" there appears to be an independent rear suspension lifted right from the Ford Mustang parts bin. And while it's pretty cool on its face that Mustang rear-drive platform bits are being reused in the broader Ford universe, what this means for the next Explorer could be really cool. A quick caveat: The Aviator here in New York is very close to the production version, but it's not technically a production car. It looks hand-built, with temporary exhaust and some show-car touches. The suspension underneath looks exactly like a Mustang's, but the actual production Aviator will almost certainly use beefier components with the same basic design and geometry, since the Aviator will be much heavier than the smaller Mustang. That being said, we're fairly confident that even at this early stage, the Mustang-derived suspension seen in New York is a preview of what'll be under the production Aviator. Furthermore, Ford won't say it, but based on what we're seeing on Aviator, it's a safe bet that Ford will utilize the Aviator platform for the next Explorer. That would enable the economies of scale necessary to produce a brand new rear-drive-based SUV platform in the first place. It also means that the Explorer should be available without AWD — and given the stable of powerful EcoBoost engines, and the competent 10-speed automatic in the parts bin, a rear-drive Explorer has a shot at being a decent driver. Aviator wouldn't go rear-drive-based if driving dynamics weren't important; Explorer should inherit these priorities. More evidence: The Explorer spy shots we saw back in February sure share the Aviator's general proportions. Even back then, before Aviator was revealed, we were hypothesizing that an EcoBoost 3.5-liter-powered version could boast as much as 400 horsepower, if the Expedition's tune were adopted. Suddenly, the Explorer seems very interesting. So, an EcoBoost, rear-drive Explorer sure sounds like something Ford Performance would be interested in, right? We knew an Explorer ST is coming, but with 365-400 horsepower potential and a chassis designed with dynamics in mind, it doesn't seem like as much of a stretch as the Edge ST. And a performance-oriented AWD system is a possibility, too. That's an area where Ford has been gathering experience at a rapid pace. What do we not expect from a new Explorer? A V8.
