2013 Ford F-150 Raptor Svt Crew Cab Loaded Nav 801a on 2040-cars
Provo, Utah, United States
This is the lowest price, low miles 2013 Raptor with 801A package out there! I am the first and only owner of this incredible truck. I custom ordered it in February of 2013 and took delivery on May 8th of last year. I ordered it with EVERY option possible except the graphics package. This truck has always been garaged and was purchased to be a toy - after the first week of owning it, I couldn't leave it in the garage and it became my daily driver, used to commute to and from my office. All of the miles are were easy miles with absolutely ZERO off-roading or hot-rodding. This truck has been babied. I can also provide documentation that shows an average of 14.3 MPG since new with very little highway driving. My office is my primary destination and it is 8 miles away through town! This truck has the 801A package which includes HID Projector Headlights, Navigation, Heated and Cooled Seats, Front and Rear View Cameras, Tailgate step, and more. Everything on the truck is stock and in excellent condition. I can provide pictures of anything upon request, just text me : 830-237-7664 The wheels and chrome trim have all been blacked out with plasti-dip but can be returned to factory. The blacked out look is very popular, but very few people have done it as well as it is done on this Raptor while keeping stock equipment. I added about $1500 worth of LED lighting - a 20 inch Dual Row LED Bar on the front and 2 sets of Dually LEDs (floods and spots). The lights were professionally routed to the Raptor's provided Aux switches. Everything else is stock. Still has factory warranty for 24 months or 21K more miles. I have all paperwork, dealer window sticker, build sheet, maintenance records (just oil changes and routine service), both sets of keys, etc... Never had a single problem, this truck has been a dream. I hate to sell it, but its time to move on to another toy. For more pictures or questions, feel free to call or text: 830-237-7664 I am confident that this is the lowest price, clean, low miles 2013 Raptor out there. |

GM readying aluminum-body fullsize pickups
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Ford's extensive use of aluminum in its 2015 F-150 is a big deal. A really big deal. Big enough, in fact, that General Motors is reportedly changing its fullsize pickup strategy. According to The Wall Street Journal, The General has locked in partnerships with Alcoa Inc. and Novelis Inc. - companies that will supply aluminum for the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.
"Ford's introduction of the 2015 F-150 pickup truck was a game changer, and it's the first, not the last, conversion of this type," Novelis spokesperson Charles Belbin told the Journal. The switch to aluminum has allowed Ford to shave roughly 700 pounds off its fullsize truck's curb weight. And while official mileage ratings have not been announced, the weight loss should go a long way for improving efficiency, especially when combined other efficiency-minded improvements including better aerodynamics and new, turbocharged V6 engines.
Of course, aluminum-bodied cars are nothing new. But extensive use of aluminum in a major, best-selling product like the Ford F-150 is expected to kick off widespread use of this weight-saving material as availability rises and cost decreases. The WSJ reports that GM had originally explored the idea of moving to aluminum pickups back in 2008, but abandoned the idea due to cost concerns amid economic woes.
Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room
Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
