2009 Ford F-150 Lariat Crew Cab Loaded and Immaculate! Located in Macon, Georgia Beautiful! 2009 Ford F-150 Lariat. This truck is in near showroom condition, it really sparkles. I am the second owner. This was a corporate fleet truck, used by a supervisor to visit job sites. It has been maintained meticulously. I am currently working on getting all of the service records. Most of the miles are highway miles. I have been over this truck from top to bottom and in my estimation, there is not one single issue with this truck, either mechanical or cosmetic. If I had to nit pick, I'd say there is just a bit of wear on the driver's seat from getting in and out, but it is not nearly as bad as it would be on cloth seats. You can also see on the bed rails where there were chrome rail extenders mounted previously. There are no tears in the cloth, no noticeable scratches on the paint and no leaks or funny noises of any kind. Absolutely everything works as it should. I encourage you to come see this truck in person! I am NOT a dealer. I sell used parts and occasionally, just by being in the business, I come across a real beauty like this one. I've been driving this truck as a family vehicle, and I really wish I could afford to keep it!! My phone number is at the bottom of this listing. If you're seriously interested, please call me. I will not accept any offers until I have spoken to you on the phone. I much prefer to deal face to face, so you are welcome and encouraged to look at the truck in person if you are close enough to do so. I can NOT accept PayPal due to the 3% fee and 21 day hold, so please be prepared to pay via cash or certified check. Please bid only if you can make payment arrangements quickly. Do NOT apply for financing after the fact, and cross your fingers! If you have fewer than 10 positive feedback ratings, you MUST contact me prior to bidding. Otherwise, your bid will be canceled. Shipping I will be happy to ship this truck (at buyer's expense). If you will need to have the vehicle shipped, you can check prices using uShip's estimator by clicking here. If you require shipment, a check will be fine, but the vehicle will not be released until the check has cleared. Pay no attention to the inaccurate quotes listed under the "Shipping" tab on this listing. They have nothing to do with me, and I guarantee none of the companies listed will put those quotes in writing. Thanks Please scroll down to see all the BIG photos! |

Ford Explorer, Expedition next to go aluminum?
Sun, 13 Apr 2014Ford made some serious waves when it unveiled the latest F-150. Instead of making its bodywork out of steel, like just about every other truck on the market, Ford went with aluminum. And you can bet the F-150 won't be the last Ford model to go with the lightweight alloy construction, either.
Our compatriots at Edmunds report that Dearborn is considering replacing two of its most popular SUVs with aluminum versions. One candidate is the Expedition, which would make sense considering that the current model (like the two preceding generations and the fullsize Bronco before it) is based on the F-150's underpinnings. Another is the Explorer, which was traditionally based on the Ranger pickup but went with a car-like unibody chassis in its current iteration. If the Explorer does go the way of aluminum, don't expect it to be a part of its very next update, which is likely due too soon for such major changes.
It would stand to reason that, if the Expedition were to go aluminum, so would the next-generation Lincoln Navigator. Ditto the MKT together with the Explorer. But those aren't likely to be the only models in contention for aluminum construction. Like any other automaker, Ford is under pressure to steadily reduce its carbon emissions and improve its fuel economy figures, prompting it to look at a whole range of measures - including more efficient engines, lower rolling-resistance tires, active aerodynamics and lightweight construction. Expect aluminum to play a big part in that equation moving forward.
Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls
Tue, 04 Nov 2014
Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
Shelby Cobra, Mercedes 300SL and 1947 Woodie from Petersen Museum headed to auction
Mon, 29 Jul 2013The changes happening at the Petersen Museum have been making the rounds in major press, but it probably won't be until August 18, during Pebble Beach, when we get the full story on what's happening; that's where and when museum reps plan on announcing the way forward for the SoCal institution. In the meantime, the museum is still reorganizing its collection, and that means auctioning some of its showpieces at this weekend's Auctions America event in Burbank.
Three of the stars are a 1964 Shelby Cobra 289, one of less than 20 produced with a three-speed C-4 automatic transmission, a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL owned by actor Robert Stack and the last 1948 Ford Sportsman 'Woodie' ever produced. The Cobra, now restored to its original white exterior and red leather interior, was a factory demonstrator that first sold for $5,250. Showing just 38,950 miles on the odometer, its pre-sale estimate is $800,000 to $1 million.
The 300SL is actually a 1957 model but wasn't titled until Robert Stack took possession in 1960. The lead actor in the The Untouchables TV series used to drive by the Sunset Boulevard Mercedes dealership to ogle the car, but couldn't justify spending the money to buy it. When he and the producer of The Untouchables won Emmys for the show, the producer, who happened to be Desi Arnaz, bought the car for Stack. He owned it his whole life, it has been left as Stack drove it and still bears the California license plate "UNTCHBL."
