Up for sale is my 2008 Ford F150. This truck is the FX4 model. The truck has the 4 door crew cab with 6 1/2 foot bed. The truck only has 41,000 miles on it and isnt driven very much. The truck is fully loaded with all options except leather and sunroof. The exterior is in very good condition. The only blemishes on the outside are a small scratch by the rear tail light and a couple scratches on the rear bumper by the trailer hitch. other then these couple blemishes the exterior is perfect. The truck shines like a brand new truck . The tires are like new and are bf goodrich all terrains that were replaced last year. The front pads and rotors were replaced last year also. The truck runs and drives like new with no issues at all. The oil has always been changed at 3,000 miles with mobil 1 synthetic. the tranny and differential fluids have all been changed regularly also. The truck has a rhino liner bedliner with a tri fold tonneau cover and a bug deflector on it. The driver door has the keyless entry pad on it. The underneath of the truck is in good shape with no rot or any issues and the body doesnt have a spec of rust anywhere on it. There are no leaks of any kind on this truck. The interior is in very good shape also. The truck is very roomy with the 4 doors and is very comfortable to drive on those long rides. This thing rides better then any truck I have ever owned. I hate driving long distances but in this truck I dont mind because of how smooth it is. The interior is loaded with all the goodies you could want in a truck. It has power windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, Power sliding rear window, A/C, and navigation. The truck has navigation in it which looks identical to the factory one it even has the ford symbol when turning on and lights and switches are same as factory ones except the radio is better. Unlike the factory navigation this one has a ipod connection which is controlled through radio, it has bluetooth for your phone and it also plays dvds. I added this radio and I love it, it is so much better than the factory setup and you would never know it didnt come in the truck this way. The interior is very clean with very minimal amounts of use showing. The black interior is very clean and has no smells or stains in it. Everything on this truck works and functions as it should. It has the turn signals in the mirrors which are also heated. Overall I cant say enough how much I have enjoyed this truck but I have 3 other vehicles which is why this one is not driven much so i think its time to downsize a bit. i have a clear title in hand for the truck so it is ready to enjoy by the new owner. You will not be disappointed and will save money over what the dealer would want for a truck in this shape. The truck is sold as is where is and the buyer must arrange pickup or shipping. A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction close and the remainder must be paid within 7 days. If you have any other questions or need more pics feel free to email me.

Ford F-150 pulls semi truck through snow-clogged Chicago streets
Wed, Feb 4 2015Earlier this week, the Midwest was crippled by a massive snowstorm that dumped a foot or more of powder in some areas. The result was, of course, transportation gridlock. It's a fortunate thing for this stranded semi-truck driver, then, that a Ford F-150 EcoBoost stumbled upon him. Despite a tow rating of just over 11,000 pounds, the four-wheel-drive, turbocharged pickup managed to dislodge the big rig from a snow-covered street. Of course, the Ford didn't get the semi moving all on its own – watch the video towards the end and the semi was quite clearly spinning its rear tires. Still, it's an impressive feat that we've little doubt F-Series fans are celebrating. Related video:
Ford Fiesta becomes UK all-time best seller
Thu, 24 Jul 2014We may regard Ford as an American automaker, but ask a Brit and they may tell you otherwise. The Blue Oval has, after all, been selling cars in the UK since 1903, and started manufacturing there as far back as 1911 when it began local production of the Model T in Manchester. Last year Ford ended 100 years of vehicle manufacturing in the UK when the last Transit van rolled off the assembly line in Southampton, but it's still the biggest-selling automotive marque in Britain.
Ford has led the British market for 34 out of the past 45 years, selling more Fiestas than any other company sells any other car in the UK since 2009... when it overtook the Focus. In fact the Fiesta has now become the best-selling car in British history, topping 4,115,000 units since its introduction in 1976. The previous record was held by - you guessed it - another Ford: the Escort sold 4,105,961 units over the course of its 32 years on the British market.
Although the Fiesta is no longer manufactured in the UK (previous versions having been built at Dagenham until 2002), engines are: the EcoBoost line was developed at the company's R&D center in Essex and are built at the factory in Dunton, while its diesel engines were developed at Dagenham in East London. Even the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine in the Fiesta ST is built in South Wales.
Ford CEO Jim Hackett reviewing the future of technology, Lincoln, overseas markets
Mon, Jul 31 2017By Paul Lienert and Joseph White Ford Chief Executive Jim Hackett is reviewing the automaker's operations in India and other markets, as well as Ford's future product programs including plans to build a self-driving commercial vehicle in 2021. Hackett, who took over as CEO in May, has told investors he is working on a 100-day review of Ford's operations but has so far provided few details of the process, except to indicate that it is looking at the automakers' luxury vehicle strategy, the future of its small vehicles and investments in emerging markets. Ford Chief Financial Officer Bob Shanks told Reuters in an interview that the review covers a range of issues, including Ford's strategy for India. "We have a lot of work to do (as) we address issues of how to fix India," Shanks said. "Everything is on the table." General Motors in May said it would stop selling cars in India but continue to produce vehicles there for export. Shanks said no decisions have been made and noted that Ford has a larger business in India than GM did. "We are very cognizant that will be the third-largest market in the world," he said. "Some big decisions will be made," Shanks said, but he cautioned Ford may not disclose all those decisions at the end of the 100-day review. Hackett is addressing challenges that have contributed to a nearly 8 percent decline in Ford's share price this year. The review of the Lincoln luxury brand includes whether current plans will meet former CEO Mark Fields' ambitious targets for growth and revenue, people familiar with the process said. Ford has set a target of putting a self-driving shuttle into commercial ride-sharing fleets by 2021. Hackett is reviewing the investment and timing for that project, the sources said. Hackett also assessing whether to reduce and consolidate production of models such as the Fiesta subcompact and two midsized sedans that are built in multiple locations around the world, but are experiencing slowing demand. One proposal would shift production of the next-generation Mondeo midsized sedan from Europe to Mexico, where it would share an assembly line with its sibling, the Ford Fusion, avoiding the cost of retooling two plants. Shortly after he took charge, Hackett approved a proposal to shift production of the next-generation Focus for North America from Mexico to China, saving the company an estimated $500 million by consolidating two factories into one.
