2006 Ford F-150 Lariat Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 5.4l on 2040-cars
Reynoldsburg, Ohio, United States
You are bidding on this really clean well kept Texas F-150. This is the crew Cab Lariat addition. very impressive interior. It has minor nicks here and there, but the overall amazing thing about this truck is it is in superb shape. These are high way miles that are in this truck. The engine and transmission is sound and super reliable. Starts right up and drives. I drove this truck from San Antonio to Columbus Ohio. I have kept the maintenance up to date and done on time every time. The exterior is also really impressive. I have taken close up picture of the two areas that are the most significant cosmetically off things. Please understand it is really difficult to describe everything to perfection, however, I have my cell phone on me always and I will gladly answer everything.. If you need a specific pictures taken or a close up , please just ask. EBay has a bizarre new 12 picture maximum..!!!!!
Listen, This truck has high miles, but the only affect this has on the vehicle is it get you the luxury F-150 you have been needing for a lot cheaper than what they usually go for. This thing has a lot of life left in it. It functions perfectly. Mechanically this truck is really sound. It really can drive across the country if you need it to. These vehicles are designed to last and perform. This is a very powerful truck and can hold quite a bit of weight. Let me explain how this truck ended up in my position... My uncle owns a used car lot. I am a member of his dealership and like to sell cars on the side for a little bit of supplemental income. I have access to dealer only auctions and that's where I get these vehicles. I purchased this van from Manheim San Antonio. I flew in to pick it up and drove it back to Columbus Ohio. I had absolutely no trouble with the vehicle driving the distance. This is probably because I only buy cars that are "Auction Guaranteed" This is in reference to the powertrain of the vehicle. (engine and transmission) I can extend that guarantee for 90 days and will have that in writing along side the bill of sale for the winning bidder. Now, I got this for my brother who is trying to start a carpet laying/flooring business. Perfect for him and his start up status. However: We found an E-350 work van. This is way more suitable for him.
I simply just want to sell it. hopefully someone can enjoy it for what it is. a very cheap but reliable Lariat. You can tell it has mechanically been well taken care of. Everything works. The A/C is Ice cold, and first thing I did was have my Mechanic look it over and change the oil check fluids etc etc. The tires look to be practically brand new. No signs of a smoker inside, and actually the interior dash is quite clean and well kept. Really this thing is ready to just be picked up and rolled right in to the job or enjoyed as a smooth drive. There are no real gaps between fender and hood and such things (meaning no real evidence of any body damage in its life). It just simply is a good looking truck. this is the best way to describe it. Please bid confidently.
Please call/text/email me for any Questions at all. I have 100% feedback and will deliver the truck to the winning bidder for a fee a lot less than what most shipping companies charge. 614-271-0330

Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen
Tue, Jan 19 2016Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:
Compact SUV Comparison: Specs, pics and reviews of every brand's crossover
Wed, Jul 25 2018Honda CR-V vs Toyota RAV4. Chevy Equinox vs Ford Escape. Mazda CX-5 vs Subaru Forester. Whichever combinations of compact crossover SUV you're considering, there's probably a comparison test or chart out there to read. Heck, you can even create a three-car comparison yourself here at Autoblog. However, if you want a bunch of that information all in one convenient place, well, here it is. Our mega comparison of specs, features and photos of compact SUV entries from every mainstream manufacturer that sells them. That includes the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, 2018 Ford Escape, 2018 GMC Terrain, 2018 Honda CR-V, 2018 Hyundai Tucson, 2019 Jeep Cherokee (it's already on sale with notable changes from 2018), 2018 Jeep Compass, 2018 Kia Sportage, 2018 Mazda CX-5, 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (none of Mitsu's SUVs are perfect fits for this segment, so we deemed the MEC the most competitive fit), 2018 Nissan Rogue, 2018 Subaru Forester, 2018 Toyota RAV4 and 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan. We can update this comparison as more information about 2019 models is released, most notably the Forester and RAV4. Now, there are certainly some models that are smaller (Nissan Rogue Sport) or larger (Kia Sorento) that could also be considered, but we figured it was wise to stick with those in this sweet spot of comparable size and price. We also included links to Autoblog reviews, buying guides and smaller comparisons. Engines and Transmissions With rare exception, this segment features four-cylinder power. Sometimes it's turbocharged, often its not, but standard engine outputs are generally in the same ballpark. Therefore, we'd recommend focusing on torque output, as it's what will make a difference around town or when passing, and weighing that versus fuel economy (the Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5 make particularly strong cases in this regard). Many drivers aren't too fond of continuously variable transmissions (CVT), either, so that's another thing to consider and note during a test drive. As you can see, several models are available with performance upgrades. Besides the Jeep Cherokee's available V6, all are more powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The exception to this would be the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape, as their 1.5-liter turbo engines don't prioritize performance. Instead, they serve as overall upgrades to the base naturally aspirated engines standard on only their base trim levels (CR-V LX and Escape S).
