I have owned this truck since it was new, and the only reason that I am selling it now is because I purchased a SuperCrew cab truck. If I didn't need the additional seating, I would still be driving this truck. This truck has been mainly driven on the Highway, as I travel a lot for work across Texas. A couple years ago I did hit a deer on the passenger side door, however I had a body shop fix and repaint the dented area on the door. Other than that there has never been any damage to the vehicle. Below, you will find a few additional details about the truck, and if you have any additional questions feel free to email me.

Specs and Included Equipment

  • Gray Vinyl Seats: There are Three Seats and the middle seat will fold down as an arm rest. All the seats are in good condition.
  • Spare Tire, with security lock
  • Locking Tailgate.
  • Radio
  • Cold A/C
  • Floor Mats
  • Bosch Wiper Blades

Condition of Truck

  • Seats: Are in excellent condition.
  • Paint: There are a few scratches, If you are really particular you could definitely have then buffed out in a few minutes
  • Truck Bed: The bed of this truck does have scratches on the floor mainly, I did put stuff in the back and that is what happens.
  • Tires: Good condition, see below.
  • A/C: Works Great, I have never had any trouble with it.
  • Interior: Good condition.
  • Engine: Runs great. The only issue you might want to address in the future is there is a very small oil leak, and the fellow that changes my oil told me that it needed a new oil pan gasket. It will only lose a very small amount between oil changes (I never have to add additional oil) so I have just left it. But the mechanic told me it would cost about $150 to have it replaced.
  • Windshield: There is a small (5" to 6") Crack on the windshield, on the drivers side. It has never bothered me, so I have never had it replaced, but I think that for probably $250, you can have it replaced. I are a couple other very small chips (smaller than a dime) on the edge of the windshield too.

Recent Work Done on Vehicle:

  1. I had the Plugs, Wires, and Coil replaced at 114, 561 miles
  2. Four new tires mounted at 99,558 miles. These tires have a 50,000 mile warranty, so that would leave about 16,000 miles of life on them now.
  3. I change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 miles, the last oil change was at 132,023 miles, so I have only driven about 1,500 miles since it was changed.
  4. I had a new air filter installed at the last oil change too, I replace it whenever recommended.
  5. I have always had this truck maintained according to the Ford maintenance schedule, and everything, but the oil changes are done by a Ford Dealer.

The truck is located in Bryan, TX if you want to come by and see it in person. If you have any questions feel free to send me an email, or if you would like to speak on the phone about the truck send me your number, and I will give you a call.

Watch this Ford F-150 SVT Raptor fly like an eagle [UPDATE]

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a very capable truck right out of the box, but "capable" has never translated into "invincible." Just ask the owner of the machine in this video. In it, the driver gets frisky with an aggressive jump with plenty of speed on his hands. The result is enough air to make Vaughn Gittin Jr. blush. As always, it's not the launch that's painful, but the re-entry. Gravity eventually asserts its dominance over the $43,630 pickup in a big way, and when it comes crashing down, it does so with a vengeance.
The impact was hard enough to set off both the alarm and multiple airbags inside the cabin. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the stunt, but we certainly wouldn't be surprised to hear that was the case. You can check out the stunt in the video below, and remember, when in doubt, back out of the throttle. Be warned, there may be some explicit/NSFW language in the clip.
UPDATE: Second video added with an even better look at the jump added below.

2022 Rivian R1T vs. 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning vs. GMC Hummer EV Pickup | How they compare on paper

Tue, Sep 28 2021

The 2022 Rivian R1T has arrived, ushering in the era of the production electric pickup truck. The Rivian reviews are in, and spoiler alert: They're pretty good. Curious how the new battery-powered truck stacks up to its forthcoming competitors? Well, you've come to the right place. Rivian beat all of Detroit's big automakers to market in the half-ton segment, but probably not by the margin the startup would have liked. Ford's answer is the F-150 Lightning, which is due to enter production early next year, coming hot on the heels of GM's first entry into the space – the GMC Hummer EV pickup – which is scheduled to come off the line late this fall. While all three are pickups, they're aimed at distinctly different buyers, as a perusal of their specifications will reveal. Let's have a look, shall we?   Disclaimer: Before we dive in on this one, we'd like to note that while we've made our best effort to verify the specs provided, the Rivian is brand-new and the others are still in the prototype phase. Some of these figures may be inaccurate or may simply change before production. This is all hypothetical until you can actually cross-shop them anyway, right? Cool. End disclaimer. Let's start with the powertrains. They're all battery-electric trucks engineered on a modular rear-wheel-drive configuration engineered to accommodate (theoretically, anyway) up to four electric drive units. Rivian actually makes the most use of this with a quad-motor setup producing 835 horsepower and 908 pound-feet of torque with its high-output initial model. GMC's three-motor Hummer has the R1T beat with its estimated 1,000-horsepower output, while Ford's (also three-motor) comes in with a far more modest 563 horses. This is an excellent illustration of our above point that these are not all engineered for the same crowd. Ford's F-150, which comes in at a lower price point, is meant to be far more mainstream, as its power output suggests.  This theme continues when we look at the dimensions. Despite the image "Hummer" may conjure, GMC's entry actually needs the shallowest parking space. The Rivian is right behind it, with the work-truck-spec Ford extending more than a foot longer than either. What the Hummer lacks in length, it makes up for in girth. It's the widest by a good 5 inches. The Rivian is only slightly pudgier than the F-150, but it's much closer at that end of the scale.

What an Atlas-based Ford F-150 might look like

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Just ahead of January's Detroit Auto Show, surprising rumors pegged Ford as revealing some sort of F-150 concept, perhaps as a hurried effort to deflate some of the buzz building around General Motors' new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, which were also making their auto show debut. Those rumblings turned out to be true, as Ford rolled into the Motor City with its Atlas concept (inset, right), touting the truck's bold styling as a precursor to the next-generation F-Series.
The show truck featured all kinds of clever details, including active wheel shutters and a front air dam that raised and lowered to improve aerodynamics while preserving off-road ability. It also had a genuinely snarly face. And it's that pugnacious snout that may well be on its way to production. The good folks at TopSpeed have worked up the plausible-looking artist's rendering above by cross-referencing the Atlas concept with what little has been revealed from recent spy shots. The look is toned-down pretty dramatically from the concept truck, but its Atlas roots are clear, with a massive three-bar grille and bracket-shaped headlamps hiding a next-generation EcoBoost engine. In the rendering, the show truck's deeply contoured hood and roofline have been ditched and larger, more traditional side mirrors have been fitted - all likely concessions in the move to production sheetmetal.
While Ford has yet to officially announce when it will unveil the 2015 F-150, all signs point to next year's Detroit Auto Show - one year after the Atlas shrugged off GM's new pickups.
