Hello, For sale is a beautiful 2004 Ford F150 FX4 Supercrew Short bed 4x4 pick up truck. This truck has a clean carfax and clear title in hand. This truck has been garage kept and it shows. Truck has the upgraded leather interior with the console shifter and front bucket seats. While this truck has the FX4 off road package, it has never been in the mud or off road. It looks tough, but has been a suburban pick up and has never been used for work. I know that it has pulled a bass boat, and some jet skiis, but that is all. Interior is spotless. Leather seats with no real wear on them at all. Carpet is new looking and has floor liners so it looks great. No smoking ever. Has no odors. Has all options including power sunroof, power everything, and a great stereo. Clarion CD/Ipod hook up with 500 Watt Boston Accoustics amp and 2 10" sub woofers under the back seats. Sounds great. Exterior is just as nice. Paint shines like new. No rust, no dents, no dings. Has some assorted stone chips, but not much. Has nice 20" chrome wheels with Dick Cepek mud style tires. Has better than 50% tread left. Wheels has slight pitting on them-that is the only flaw on truck. Truck has a 3" leveling kit for front and this makes it look lifted. Still rides very good. Also has an upgraded Billet grill that looks cool. The truck runs and drives great. The 5.4 V8 starts up and runs smooth. The spark plugs and coils have been replaced with the one piece spark plugs so you will not have any issues with the spark plugs. Next tune up is due at 180,000 miles. The transmission shifts fine. The fluid was changed at 80,000. In fact, the transfer case, front and rear diff fluids were changed at the same time. new battery last fall. Truck needs no repairs. Truck is spotless it is so clean. This truck was driven by my son. He is now at college and he can not afford to have this truck. Between the insurance and the gas, he can't afford it. I bought this truck from my business partner and I also know the owner before him. So I know the history on this truck from about 6000 miles on the odometer. No accidents, no paintwork, no off roading, no stupid behavior. This is a straight truck. Call Ted at 314-566-4272 Truck is for sale locally also. Truck will be sold with no warranty. Payment must clear before truck leaves. No delivery. Signed Title and bill of sale.

Ford adding stop-start to all major model lines
Sun, 24 Nov 2013Ford has gone all-in on its efforts to offer most of its new vehicles with a fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine, but the automaker is reportedly preparing to take another big step toward improving vehicle efficiency. Automotive News is reporting that Ford will soon expand the availability of start-stop technology, which was first offered - presumably the first non-hybrid vehicle, that is - on the 2013 Fusion (equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine) as a $295 option.
The benefit of start-stop is reduced fuel consumption as it shuts the engine off at long stops, and AN quotes Ford as saying that drivers can save more than $1,000 on fuel costs over five years. Despite this, the option hasn't been popular on the Fusion thus far, but it could be more beneficial on bigger vehicles like the F-150. Ford also said that the next-gen Edge, which was previewed in concept form at the LA Auto Show, will be equipped with auto start-stop to help make the EcoBoost engines even more efficient.
Ford is building this sweet back-to-basics SUV in Brazil
Mon, 02 Jun 2014We're use to forbidden fruit teasing us in Europe. Hatchbacks and diesels from Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Skoda, SEAT and Alfa Romeo have been a regular torment that we've grown accustomed to over the years. This vehicle, though, is one piece of forbidden fruit we aren't entirely sure we can get over. We need it.
It's called the Ford Troller T4, and if you accidentally read that as either "reborn Ford Bronco" or "Americanized Land Rover Defender," we wouldn't be rushing to correct you. It's a basic, badass SUV, and is the first new vehicle to come from Troller since Ford gobbled it up in 2007. For those with longer memories, you'll recognize this vehicle from the concept that preceded it, the Ford T-R Concept. The production model remains remarkably true to the T-R, as well as past Trollers, but it's a slightly more modern look overall, with LED taillights, contrasting colors
You'll have to bear with us on the details, as we've been forced to rely on the notoriously literal Google Translate to convert the original Portuguese into English, which means some of the details were lost along the way.
2015 Ford Focus
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Sitting down at the pre-drive briefing with Ford engineers ahead of sampling the refreshed 2015 Focus, water bottles clinked as we wet our whistles before Q&A. While pouring a glass, we noticed something stamped on the bottle label: "1L." One liter. We were palming the exact displacement of the EcoBoost engine our group was about to drive. This was undoubtedly coincidence (such bottles litter every conference and dinner table in Europe) but it served to drive home just how small the total swept volume of Ford's wunderkind powerplant really is. It's tiny.
Of course, this isn't our first run-in with the little triple - we've sampled its turbocharged charms before in Ford's smaller Fiesta. At that time, we found it had plenty of poke for the subcompact, but the larger C-segment Focus carries around another 450 pounds or so and pushes a wider profile through the air. Would the three-cylinder have the stuffing to make the most of the Focus' athletic chassis, or would it be a letdown? Would it be the same as it was when we tested it in a Euro-spec Focus a couple of years ago? There was nothing left for it but to head out on the bucolic roads surrounding Versailles the day after the Paris Motor Show and find out for ourselves.
