I am relisting this truck due to a false bidder.  If you have the intentions of buying this truck please message me after you make your bid stating that you are a serious buyer with your intentions of how you want to pick up or have the truck delivered.

You are bidding on a 2003 SVT lightning.  This truck is very clean and has no mechanical issues.  The truck runs a drives great straight as a narrow going down the road.  Overall I would rate this truck at an 8 on a scale to 10.  I can tell the truck has not been abused and it has been well taken care of.

Exterior
I just had the front bumper repainted due to a minor rub and a few rock chips.  I also changed the hood back to a factory hood and had it repainted black at that time.  In addition to the hood and bumper I had the roof line repainted as the clear coat was pealing in a very small amount.  These 3 paint items really make the truck shine!  I have pictured a small ding in the drivers door where it wouldn't hurt to have some touch up paint applied... I'm fairly certain a neighbor kid shot the door with a beebee gun the day I brought it home from paint.  The rear glass has been converted to a 1 piece window.  The truck has 01-02 20" blacked out replicas with almost new tires all the way around.  Tire size is pictured.  Truck has the hotchkis 2/4 drop with strange adjustable shocks in the back.  Just installed HID kit in both the head lamps and the fogs.  Looks great and shines up the road!  Just painted the calipers red all the way around. Other then that there are a few minor imperfections in the paint as you walk around the truck but you really have to be looking for them.. Remember this is an 11 year old truck!  I will take more pics upon you're request if need be.  I would rate the exterior of the truck at an 8 of 10.

Interior
I just carpet cleaned the whole interior and shaved down the seats to get rid of the well know suede clumps these trucks all get.  The result is that they look great now but are not perfect.  The truck has the expedition center console mod done to it where the passenger seat is now a bucket seat.  There is a 3 gauge pillar pod installed with phantom boost guage, AEM A/F ratio guage,  and phantom fuel pressure gauge.  The interior shows some signs of wear for being 11 years old but I would still rate it at a 7 of 10.

Mechanical
The odometer reads 1218xx.  Truck runs very smooth with no issues.  Just replaced the battery with a red top optima, brand new NGK TR6 plugs gapped to .030, and a fresh oil change all done within the last 500 miles. Just replaced upper and lower ball joints, and pitment arm.  There are no squeaks in the suspension!  Truck has brand new magnaflow muffler, 6lb quick change lower pulley with stock upper pulley, K&N cold air intake, punisher valve body, diablosport handheld tuner with custom tune from HP tuners here in Jacksonville Florida,  transmission was rebuilt in 2013, and the rear end was rebuilt in 2012 with axles being replaced at the same time.  I'm sure I'm leaving a few things out but please ask if you have any questions.  I would trust this truck across the country!  Mechanically I would rate this truck a 9 out of 10.

I have receipts for a lot of the work performed and that will all be transferred upon purchase.  I have the title in hand and I'm ready to deal!

Please bid with confidence as my feedback is 100% with many transactions.  I am an honest guy and I'm looking to disclose ANYTHING the buyer would want to ask even beyond what I have said here.  I am not trying to hide a thing in this deal!  I know these trucks very well and will be able to answer most questions you have and if I can't answer the question I know many others who can.

Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.

Ford patents a multi-touch version of its classic keypad

Fri, Sep 9 2016

For decades, Ford has offered a keypad on the doors of their cars that would allow owners access with the right code. Amazingly, the keypad has survived almost unchanged except for a recent touch button version. A new patent from the Blue Oval shows the keypad may get a big upgrade soon. The first big change is that it looks like the keypad may move to the key fob. Although it might be possible to have it on the car itself as well, the patent only seems to focus on the key fob. In addition, the fob will now be a multi-touch pad similar to that of modern smartphones. This will allow for more diverse code entries, according to the patent's description. Instead of just a simple number code, owners could enter a code that involves swipes and keystrokes, and even simultaneous keystrokes. For instance, you could enter a code that requires swiping from 1 to 3, followed by holding 2 and 4 to unlock the car. The patent also seems to indicate that this keypad would then display unlock functions and other functions on the fob after the correct code is entered, thus making it more than just a way to unlock the car. As for the practical implications of this keypad system update, it could provide an added layer of security. If someone steals your keys, they would have to also know your access code to get into the car. Whether this would also help make the key and car harder to hack would remain to be seen, though. Another possible benefit could be the prevention of accidental lock and alarm button presses, although that likely isn't a common issue. There could be potential downsides as well. If used as an extra layer of security, the legitimate owner would have to punch in their code on the fob to get in, which would render proximity key benefits relatively useless. Moving the keypad to the fob would also mean owners couldn't get into their cars without having the key with them. We don't have any clues as to when this could become a feature, but it doesn't seem like it would be difficult to implement, so it could show up in the next few years. Recharge Wrap-up: Ford's "snowtonomous" Fusion Hybrid, Porsche eyes battery makers

Fri, Mar 11 2016

Bosch and Panasonic are vying to be the battery supplier for Porsche's electric sports car based on the Mission E concept. While Bosch's costs may be higher, its solution would offer simpler logistics. Panasonic is already well established as a battery maker, providing the packs for the Porsche car's rival, Tesla. "We're in the final stage of making a decision," says Porsche CEO Oliver Blume, declining to comment on specific manufacturers. Neither Bosch nor Panasonic provided comment. Read more from Automotive News. Renault will supply a fleet of 150 Renault Zoe EVs for a smart solar charging project in Utrecht, Netherlands. The project involves the installation of 1,000 EV chargers powered by 10,000 photovoltaic panels. The Renault Zoes would be used as part of a carsharing program powered by the solar chargers. Renault and its partners will also implement a vehicle-to-grid system to provide energy during peak demand from the solar chargers and connected EVs. Read more in the press release from Renault. Ford has been testing an autonomous Fusion Hybrid prototype that is capable of driving itself in snowy conditions. Ford uses 3D mapping to scan the drive route. Its LiDAR laser mapping can even detect single falling snowflakes. It collects and processes up to 600 gigabytes of data per hour, comparing its environment to saved maps, a process that helps establish location more precisely than GPS. In addition to the LiDAR systems, the car is also equipped with cameras and radar to help it navigate. Eventually, the car could even be able to clean off its sensors when it detects loss of performance from ice and dirt. Read more in the press release below. FROM AUTONOMY TO SNOWTONOMY: HOW FORD FUSION HYBRID AUTONOMOUS RESEARCH VEHICLE CAN NAVIGATE IN WINTER DEARBORN, Mich., March 10, 2016 – Driving in snow can be a slippery challenge, with the potential for one blizzardy gust to white-out your field of view – a situation faced by the majority of people in the United States. So if self-driving cars are to become a reality – and they almost certainly will – they must be able to navigate snow-covered roads. In its quest to bring self-driving vehicles to millions of people around the world, Ford reveals six facts about its technology that allows for a car to drive itself in snow. 1. Mapping the way: Ford first creates high-resolution 3D maps using LiDAR technology to scan the area its autonomous vehicle will later drive in the snow.
