This is my 2003 Ford Lightning. This is one of the cleanest Lightning you will find. I'm the third owner of this truck as I bought it from the second owner he bought the truck in VA and drove it down to Florida with 3,000 miles. I purchase the truck with 51,000 miles and I've had it for about 1 year and a half as a 2nd car. The truck has only been driven on weekend with oil changes done every 3,000 with mobil one fully synthetic. Just mounted and balance 4 new hankook tires 295/45r18 $900.00. Truck has a 6lb lower pully, cold air intake, BBK throttle body, Dablosport predator, bassani exhaust full cat back. The truck is my baby the only reason why I'm selling the truck is because am buying a house and could use the money for some of the down payment and closing cost. Truck needs nothing both the inside and outside are like new you could eat food of the enigne of how clean I keep this truck. Truck comes with all the original manuals 4 wheel locks with key. Everything works great A/C, powerdoors and lock. HID headlights and fog light. I have sent over $1,500 in suspension work nothing but the best Bell Tech front spring with spindles 3" drop in the front and hangers and shackles 4" drop on the rear. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or call me (786)532-5146 no trades or low offers as I have a low reserve. PayPal payment only $500.00 within 24 hrs of auction ending buyer is responsible for any shipping cost of the truck. The Lightning is a 9/10 never in any type of accident, no rust anywhere. Do Not bid if you don't have the funds to purchase.

Ford to build Explorer in Russia to meet demand [w/video]
Fri, 12 Apr 2013The current Ford Explorer is sold in more than 64 countries, and this three-row vehicle continues to grow in popularity worldwide. To keep up with demand, Ford began producing the Explorer at Ford Sollers Elabuga Assembly Plant in Tatarstan, Russia, a joint venture facility. This partnership will build Russian-market Explorers only, and production of export vehicles not destined for Russian buyers will continue to be built at Ford's assembly plant in Chicago.
Before this plant went online, Ford would ship Explorers to Russia (and other regions around the world) as partially assembled knock-down units where final assembly would eventually take place. While there is no indication as to how many Explorers Ford Sollers will build for Russia, Ford did add that exports of the SUV were up 65 percent last year (from 2011) accounting for more than 24,000 units.
Scroll down for a press release about the Russian Explorer as well as a video (bad music and all) showing the SUV being produced in Tatarstan.

Ford tells Congress it collects and protects some driver data
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Last month Ford's Jim Farley made waves at the CES when it was reported he told show attendees, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone." Farley and Ford later partially retracted and clarified that statement.
Spurred by a desire for further transparency on data collection policies, Ford representatives answered questions from Congress, specifically Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.), about driver privacy.
The Detroit News reports that Ford told Congress it does collect some vehicle location data in an effort to "troubleshoot and improve our products" on behalf of the driver. Ford went on to say that it only collects limited data after receiving permission from owners.
