Yes you read correctly, this vehicle has only 19k miles. The interior looks factory new. Only 1 very minor crack in the dash pad. New cd player(ipod compatible) and updated speakers were the only modification to the interior and yes i still have the factory radio. A/c blows ice cold. The exterior looks great only minor scratches on the rear of the bed. Also there is 1 minor rust spot behind the p/s rear tire(see photo). No rust on any other portion of the vehicle. Paint shines excellent. Very minor touches will bring this vehicle to car show condition exterior wise. Under the hood still has the factory engine build sticker on the valve cover and is white like the day it was printed. Car runs and drives like new, just replaced the factory tires. New tires only have 200mi on them. Car recently had a full tune up. THERE IS NOTHING MECHANICALLY WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE!!!!!!! Monsoon rains disrupt production for Ford, BMW in India
Wed, Dec 2 2015Even modern production techniques can be stymied by Mother Nature. This was demonstrated most recently in India, as torrential, monsoon rains caused a deluge that forced multiple automakers to suspend production. Ford, Renault, and BMW all halted work at their Indian facilities around the southern city of Chennai, also known as Madras. The annual rains disrupted public transport around the city, preventing employees from making the trek into city's factories. According to Automotive News, Chennai saw 48 inches of precipitation last month alone, which is more than Seattle, WA saw in all of 2014. While Ford and BMW closed things down for all of December 1, Renault just cancelled a pair of shifts at its Chennai factory. This is the second time in the past month that automakers in southeast India have been forced to stop production due to severe flooding, and things aren't likely to improve. According to The Weather Channel, forecasts call for thunderstorms over five of the next seven days, while the chance of rain won't fall below 80 percent until December 8. Ford, Renault, and BMW are far from the only automakers that could stand to be impacted by the rains. The city has been nicknamed "The Detroit of India" for its extreme automotive presence. Man turns Ford Fiesta into a one-car band
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The one-man band is a rather ridiculous idea, drawing up images of one person attempting to manipulate several instruments, at once, in a vain attempt at creating music. It's usually represented by silly scenes like this. Interestingly, the concept isn't much more successful when the "man" in "one-man band" is replaced with "car," as we see in this video.
It seems that someone rigged up and edited (699 times, we might add) a Ford Fiesta, a bucket, 12 PVC pipes and the natural sounds that a car makes to come up with a song. Now, we don't recognize the tune, so we've no idea if this is a cover or an original piece. And while it's hardly Beethoven, we have to admire the amount of effort the "conductor" went to in his attempt to turn a subcompact car into a musical instrument(s). Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany
Sat, 29 Jun 2013Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.
