1991 Ford F150 XLT Lariat 4x4, extended cab with 8ft bed. It runs and drive good. Needs a little work but nothing major. You have to put the steering wheel all the way up to start it or lift on the steering wheel if its not up all the way. I think there is a loose connection in the steering column and the idle is rough sometimes but I was told it was an air sensor or something related and that it acts like a vacuum leak. I changed the oil and trans fluid to have clean oil and trans fluid in it. It has a new battery, half shaft-which is between the steering column and steering box. Driver seat has a seat cover on it because material on seat is torn. Very little rust underneath and bed fender wells have been fixed as seen in pictures. The only area of rust is under the extended part of the cab and that's known for. Dent on front left fender. The transmission is good but the timing is off as far as when to shift into the next gear. I'm not sure if that is an electronic shifting issue or what it may be. It needs inspected and I was told that all it would take is to weld or clamp a 2 foot pipe to the tail pipe to get the tip out past the fender a little bit. Its a 22 year old truck and it has some issues, but its better than some other trucks out there on the net or anywhere there is any for sale. The bed panels have been repaired and saved and won't have to worry about replacing them. Passenger window needs attention because the motor is not against the thing that makes the window go up and down. 4 wheel drive does work. It's makes good for a hauler of metals or junk parts to start a business or to do whatever else you have in mind for it. It does have a class 3 hitch to haul any size trailer. If you have any other questions, message me. It may need tune up, I put new spark plug wires but nothing else yet. I have posted pictures, but more pictures can be requested. The reason I'm selling is because I'm moving to Texas and can't take with me and I already have another vehicle. I can't drive both down. I have put every detail in the description that I know of and am being up front and honest about everything I can say about the truck. I only know a little about cars as far as changing oil or basic stuff, I don't have any knowledge beyond that. I have listed what I was told about what the truck needs or has issues with.

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]
Thu, 21 Feb 2013For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
Continue on below for the video, or you can check out some images of the new FPV at the facility, as well as a gallery of the GT R-Spec car.
Shelby Cobra, Mercedes 300SL and 1947 Woodie from Petersen Museum headed to auction
Mon, 29 Jul 2013The changes happening at the Petersen Museum have been making the rounds in major press, but it probably won't be until August 18, during Pebble Beach, when we get the full story on what's happening; that's where and when museum reps plan on announcing the way forward for the SoCal institution. In the meantime, the museum is still reorganizing its collection, and that means auctioning some of its showpieces at this weekend's Auctions America event in Burbank.
Three of the stars are a 1964 Shelby Cobra 289, one of less than 20 produced with a three-speed C-4 automatic transmission, a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL owned by actor Robert Stack and the last 1948 Ford Sportsman 'Woodie' ever produced. The Cobra, now restored to its original white exterior and red leather interior, was a factory demonstrator that first sold for $5,250. Showing just 38,950 miles on the odometer, its pre-sale estimate is $800,000 to $1 million.
The 300SL is actually a 1957 model but wasn't titled until Robert Stack took possession in 1960. The lead actor in the The Untouchables TV series used to drive by the Sunset Boulevard Mercedes dealership to ogle the car, but couldn't justify spending the money to buy it. When he and the producer of The Untouchables won Emmys for the show, the producer, who happened to be Desi Arnaz, bought the car for Stack. He owned it his whole life, it has been left as Stack drove it and still bears the California license plate "UNTCHBL."
Ford Recalls Nearly 435,000 Vehicles
Mon, Apr 7 2014Ford is recalling nearly 435,000 cars and SUVs to fix rusting frame parts or faulty seats. The biggest of the two recalls covers nearly 386,000 Ford Escapes from the 2001 through 2004 model years. Ford says the subframes can rust, allowing a control arm to separate and hamper steering control. Ford is aware of one crash but no injuries linked to the problem. The SUVs were originally sold or registered in 20 states and Washington, D.C., where salt is used to clear snow and ice from roads. Six Canadian provinces also are included. Dealers will install a reinforcement brace to fix the problem. The Escapes covered by the recall were built from Oct. 22, 1999 through Dec. 19, 2003 at the Kansas City Assembly plant, and from May 1, 2003 through Jan. 23, 2004 at the Ohio Assembly plant, Ford said in a statement issued Monday. They were originally sold or registered in Connecticut, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Delaware, Maine, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Vermont, Indiana, Michigan, New York, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. Also covered are Escapes sold or registered in Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland & Labrador. The second recall covers 49,000 Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, Ford Escape and C-MAX vehicles from 2013 and 2014. Dealers will replace seat back frames that weren't welded properly. No crashes or injuries have been reported from the problem, Ford said. Recalls Ford
