Great shape 1978 Ford F150 Ranger XLT 1/2 ton pickup with 8 foot styleside bed. Good little work truck for the farm, contracting or everyday transportation. Truck is currently state (PA) inspected until 10/13. PA title in hand. Runs, drives and stops great. Driven weekly. Does have some minor issues for a 32 year old truck. Power steering pump makes some noise but functions properly. Transmission front pump also makes noise but it too functions the way it should. Shifts good, goes into all gears including reverse. Valve seals leak and truck smokes, especially when first started. Does not effect the power or drivability. Would not hesitate to drive it 200 mile+. Body is in very good condition. Cab corners, rockers, floors and cab mounts are solid. Bed floor and tail gate also solid. There is some rust around both rear wheel well openings and the right side has a small crease with one piece of trim missing. The bumpers, chrome trim and grille are in excellent condition. Interior is also in excellent condition. Seat and door panels look great (no rips, tears or damage), along with the headliner and steering wheel. The dash pad does have a crack in the center. Tires are like new. This truck is equipped with a class three towing hitch with electric brake and rare factory tilt column. Everything works in this truck. Title shows odometer is exempt and reads 60,765. The condition of this 32 year truck says it could be the actual mileage. Your call. If you want to inspect or drive this truck before you bid or buy, please call. We are more than happy to accommodate you. Any questions please ask before bidding. If you have zero feedback please contact us first before bidding. 570-205-2384 or 570-527-9673. Do not bid if you do not have the funds. Truck is also advertised locally. We reserve the right to cancel all bids if the bidding reserve is not met and end the auction if we sell it here. If the reserve is met the auction will continue and the highest bidder will get the vehicle. Thanks and good Luck. TEAM HRR

Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught
Fri, 18 Apr 2014In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.
2015 Ford F-150 gets Power Wheels treatment [w/video]
Thu, 26 Jun 2014With the introduction of its forthcoming 2015 F-150, Ford is breaking with convention by shifting from steel-intensive construction to aluminum. But what if it weren't made of metal altogether? What if it were made of plastic instead, and packed an electric motor instead of an internal-combustion engine?
Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on the new Power Wheels F-150. Built by Fisher-Price and licensed by Ford, the third-generation ride-on toy started development nine months before the full-size version debuted at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, and is hitting sidewalks and driveways across the country this September.
The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.
Ford F-150 pulls semi truck through snow-clogged Chicago streets
Wed, Feb 4 2015Earlier this week, the Midwest was crippled by a massive snowstorm that dumped a foot or more of powder in some areas. The result was, of course, transportation gridlock. It's a fortunate thing for this stranded semi-truck driver, then, that a Ford F-150 EcoBoost stumbled upon him. Despite a tow rating of just over 11,000 pounds, the four-wheel-drive, turbocharged pickup managed to dislodge the big rig from a snow-covered street. Of course, the Ford didn't get the semi moving all on its own – watch the video towards the end and the semi was quite clearly spinning its rear tires. Still, it's an impressive feat that we've little doubt F-Series fans are celebrating. Related video:
