For sale is an extremely clean and totally original 1973 Ford F-100 Ranger full size truck.
This pick-up runs and drives very well. It starts right up, no smoke, no leaks and not one bit of rust.
Tires, wheels, brakes all in great shape, the dash is flawless and the interior is very clean. The windshield needs to be replaced and I hope to have that done by the time the auction ends. The title is clean and current and in hand. This truck can be driven anywhere and would make someone a very nice older truck to restore and drive at the same time.
The 360 V-8 idles smooth and the transmission shifts nicely. There are no shakes, rattles. The A/C is complete and free but the belt is missing.
The paint is outstanding for it's age, there does not appear to be any bondo on the truck.
This is a very clean California rust free truck.
Any questions, please call 530-519-2195 or email. I can store the truck inside for a reasonable amount of time without charge, thanks

Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
