Here is a Super Rare, One Owner and all original, 1976 Ford F-100 with 152k original miles!! This truck is equipped with  the 8 cylinder, 360 motor, a 4 speed manual transmission and four wheel drive. This is a Very Rare find, All Original and Only One Owner Since New, purchased new in Dunsmuir, Ca!!

The body and paint are very clean and the truck looks great!! There are some very minor and superficial scratches, blemishes and rock chips in the paint/clear coat, expected for the age of the vehicle, please see pictures. Also, many years ago another truck had backed into the passengers side of the bed, the damage was fixed, however part of the original decals are missing and there are some cracks in the paint, please see pictures. There is a dent on the passengers side bed, next to the tail light and the rear bumper is bent, one small dent on the drivers side front fender and a tiny one on the roof, drivers side, please see pictures. There is also a tiny dent on the hood, drivers side, please see pictures. There is some rust on the passengers side front inner fender, under the battery towards the front, looks like some battery acid had spilled at one point. The truck does not have ac. Some years ago the original owner painted the bed rails white and the very bottom of the truck black, please see pictures. If the new owner wishes the truck will also come with a nice Leer Crown fiberglass canopy shown in the pictures, not a perfect color match but looks good!

The interior is in good, original condition! The truck still has the original Philco radio and speakers, still works good, please see pictures. There are many small cracks/splits in the dashboard, please see pictures. The original vinyl on the floor is in good shape, just a few tears, please see pictures. The original windshield is in good shape, no chips and no cracks, all of the windows are original! The original seat has some vinyl missing on the drivers side, please see pictures. The headliner, sun visors and door panels are in good shape, please see pictures. This pickup will also come with the original owners manual!!

The motor was completely rebuilt at 80k miles, the motor starts instantly and purrs. The engine was just completely serviced with a fresh oil&filter change, new air&fuel filters, new spark plugs, distributor cap&rotor, new rear axle seals&bearings, brakes&brake cylinders, reconditioned radiator, new hoses, new sway bar bushings, new fan belts and valve cover gaskets all for the total of just over $1,400!! The 4 speed manual transmission shifts good. The clutch is perfect as long as you start out in first gear, if second gear is used to start out there is a chatter/shake, untill you get used to it anyway. The factory transfer case has a selection for 2WD and 4WD, there is no 4LO or 4HI. The original air/smog pump is no longer hooked up. This F-100 has been well maintained and always serviced on time. The tires are matching and in great shape, Wildcat All Terrain, 31/10.50R15 LT, M+S load range C all mounted on white steel wheels! This Ford runs and drives great with only 152K original miles!!

We have many more close up, detailed pictures of this F100 pickup, please let us know if you would like to see them.

Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and is not in new condition!! Winnebago re-introduces classic Brave RV [w/video]

Fri, Jun 6 2014

Winnebago is saying 'Let's do the time warp again,' using its new Brave RV to do it – have a look at the first Winnebago RV from 1966 and you'll know exactly where this one comes from. The modern version of this swinging sixties motorhome is accurate from its size, either 26- or 27-foot version, to its trademark eyebrow above the front windshield. The foldaway bunk above the front seats that necessitated the eyebrow design has been updated, and is now a power bed that descends from the ceiling. It is among a set of standard features that also includes a 19-foot motorized awning, leveling jacks at all four corners, heated mirrors, LED ceiling lights, two available floorplans and detailing like a workstation for the front passenger, a sliding dash cluster and and a waterfall countertop in the kitchen with built-in extensions. The Brave sits on a Ford F53 chassis complete with its Triton V10 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. No word yet on any potential diesel alternatives. Naturally, that 1966 price of $4,000 will also come in for an update, but the company hasn't yet revealed it. The good folks from Winnebago will be happy to take you on a thorough personal tour of the Brave in the video below. This content is hosted by a third party. Ford dealers offered discounts on tools to fix aluminum

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With the introduction of the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 (and the likely use of aluminum in future Ford products), Ford is looking to help its dealerships reduce costs related to repairing this more labor-intensive material. Automotive News is reporting that Ford dealers with body shops will require an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in equipment and training to work on aluminum, and to help alleviate the financial burden of the new F-150, Ford has announced a special 20-percent discount on this equipment.
Dealers will be able to save up to $10,000 on tools such as welders, air-filtration systems and rivet guns and to create aluminum-specific work stations. The new F-150 goes on sale in the fourth quarter, and dealers have until October 31 to take advantage of this deal, according to the report.

Introducing the 1965 Ford Mustang

Sat, 24 Aug 2013

Put on your space suits and diving bell helmets, for it's time to step into a time capsule. The 50th anniversary of a historic model, like, say, the Porsche 911 this year, is certain to bring flights of nostalgia. This historical trip with the 1965 Mustang, though - preliminary hype for next year's anniversary, we know - is a swell museum exhibit for anyone who enjoys bygone days of the automobile.
Lee Iaccoca gave a speech to motoring journalists on April 1, 1964 at the New York World's Fair to introduce a sporty car for younger drivers. His opening line: "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to one of the proudest moments of our lives." The company was so excited by what it had made that the Mustang was Ford's first "International Press Introduction," being introduced to some 2,000 journos around the world on the same day in the US and 11 European cities. Even through its difficult points, no one at the time could have known how well the Mustang would acquit that pride.
After the intro, the press drove Mustangs 750 miles from New York to Dearborn, MI, reading press kits that touted features like the "vertical, three-sectional taillights/turn signals," "170" six-cylinder engine with 101 horsepower and the available Cruise-O-Matic transmission.
