THIS AUCTION IS FOR MY 1974 FORD F -100 CUSTOM CAB SHORTBED PICKUP. IT CURRENTLY HAS 69848 ORIGINAL MILES AND IS EQUIPPED WITH A 360 C.I. V-8 MOTOR, 4 SPEED GRANNY TRANSMISSION [rare for a f100 shortbed], LIMITED SLIP REAR END AND FACTORY DISC BRAKES. IT HAD A CAMPER SHELL SINCE NEW SO THE BED IS IN EXCEPTIONALLY NICE CONDITION. I JUST PUT A SET OF GOODYEAR WRANGLER TIRES ON IT A FEW MONTHS AGO. I PURCHASED IT FROM THE ESTATE OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND IT RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. WHAT YOU SEE IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT. AT ONE TIME IT HAD AFTERMARKET AIR BUT ALL THE REMAINS IS THE DASH VENTS. THERE IS NO A/C EQUIPMENT ON THIS TRUCK BUT YOU CAN ADD IT BY GOING TO VINTAGE AIR OR ANOTHER MAKER. THE SEAT BOTTOM IS TORN AND SO IS THE FLOORMAT WHICH IS NORMAL FOR THE AGE. YOU CAN GET NICE QUALITY REPLACEMENTS FROM DENNIS CARPENTER REPRODUCTIONS. First 1K next-gen Mustangs to carry 2014 1/2 model year?

A new report from Mustangs Daily, citing insider sources at Ford, tells us that the Blue Oval will produce 1,000 next-generation Mustangs with the model year designation of 2014 ½, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the storied marque. The commemorative half-year designation is a rumor that's been swirling in Mustang forums for quite some time now, and seems more plausible than ever with this most recent report. Certainly it's not far-fetched to believe that Ford will want to make a big deal of the golden anniversary for its most-loved model.
The story (compiled by Drew Phillips, who runs the aforementioned Mustang site when he's not directing the photography on these pages) goes on to say that the limited-run cars will be the first built on the new Mustang platform internally known as S550 (and spied testing in the attached gallery). Each car is said to carry a "special" VIN and build number, though no performance upgrades versus the 2015 cars to follow are in the works. A collector's dream then, rather than a weekend racer's.

A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.

We caught up with a few projects from Ringbrothers at SEMA this year: a classic Ford Mustang body rendered in carbon fiber, and a De Tomaso Pantera-based concept that made us swoon.
It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.
