This is a real F11 (4x4) VIN.
This truck came from Nevada and it was used by a gentleman in the forestry division. I had two copies of the sticker duplicated if you collect trucks used in this field. The window sticker shown in the pictures is the original, as is the warranty card, owners manual, etc. I have many receipts from the original owner and have a huge stack of recent restoration receipts.
Short version of body restoration. I replaced left front cab corner and attaching structural torque plate. Right cab mount was good but repaired small hole. Both rear cab extension on bottom of cab rebuilt. The floor pans had no holes but were pitted, both replaced. Bed was removed to paint the rear of the cab. Bed was sand blasted and rotisserie painted. The highest grade enamel paint was used and the metal was sealed before painting. There is nearly three gallons of paint on this truck. You could still cut and buff to a mirror finish if you wanted. All cancer was replaced with new metal, no fiberglass or bondo to fill in the holes.
This truck was original wintergreen and is now. The truck came with the mirrors that is on it, a heavier rear suspension as stated on the window sticker (this makes it set up higher in the rear than normal). It also has power brakes.
I drove the truck with old tires to the body shop which is about 45 minutes away. This truck drives awesome at 70 to 80 mph on the interstate, there was no bumpy steering, no road walk, and with this suspension just a smooth solid ride. It does not bounce when you hit a bump, just rebounds correctly.
It has a full brake pedal and they work flawlessly. No pulling to the right or left, or suspension dip when applied. There are no annoying vibrations or rattles. Even the ashtray is still shiny on the inside, appears to have never had a cigarette in it. The factory radio works fine.
The motor has been upgraded from a 360 to a 390, the block is coded as 428. The motor has 185 psi static compression in each cylinder (within 5% tolerance). It has a new Edelbrock carburetor and new dual exhaust.
The tires are new Cooper Discover AT/3. The tires do not have even one mile on them. I took the wheels to have to have tires mounted and all the miles I put on the truck were on the tires that were on the truck when I bought it.
Most important: The doors, fenders, bed, grill, bumpers, all original. NOT AFTERMARKET!

Hot Wheels' 2022 Green Speed cars bring EVs to small scale
Sun, Apr 24 2022With more and more EVs hitting the market, it was only a matter of time before the new breed of cars would find representation in diecast form. For 2022, Hot Wheels is coming out with a new Green Speed series that puts the spotlight on a diverse lineup of electric cars. The five-car series features a fun mix of EVs from different manufacturers and in a wide range of styles. Some are completely bone stock. For a traditional luxury sedan, there's a Lucid Air in silver, complete with glass (or in this case, clear plastic) canopy. For fans of Teutonic 4-door "coupes" there's the Audi RS e-Tron GT in Daytona Gray. Ticking the truck box is a Hummer EV in a yellow that can only be described as a throwback to the H3. But because this is Hot Wheels, there are "hot-rodded" variants in the lineup as well. Rather than just a regular Nissan Leaf, they've elected to cast the carbon fiber-bodied NISMO RC 2.0 race car. Likewise with Ford, instead of the standard Mustang Mach-E, they've gone with the Mustang Mach-E 1400 drift car. This isn't the first time Hot Wheels has put out a Green Speed series. The line debuted in 2016 but reflected the limited EV choices in the real car market at the time. The only non-fantasy cars in the series were a first-gen Tesla Roadster, a Tesla Model S, and Chevy Volt. Hot Wheels revisited the line again in 2019, this time adding a Tesla Model 3 and a Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Hot Wheels also makes other mini EVs that don't fall into this specific line of models. If you want to collect 'em all, there's the second-generation Tesla Roadster concept, Cybertruck, Jaguar I-Pace, Pininfarina Battista, Porsche Taycan, and a Volkswagen ID R. Similarly, Matchbox has released a version of the Tesla Roadster with sustainable packaging to boot. If you must have an old school gasoline burner, Hot Wheels has plenty of options for you too, like, say, this snazzy FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser. The 2022 Hot Wheels Green Speed series should be on shelves at your local retailers now. Related Video:
Chip Foose tastefully enhances his personal Ford GT
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Typically, we'd expect a vehicle from 2006 to fall well short of a more modern vehicle, both in terms of performance and style. Of course, the Ford GT is not your average offering from the Bush era. That's doubly true when the 2006 GT in question belongs to one Chip Foose.
Purchased by his wife as a 50th birthday present, Foose is showing his custom, personalized GT at the 2014 SEMA Show. The 5.4-liter supercharged V8 breathes a bit easier thanks to a full Magnaflow Performance exhaust, but Foose's GT isn't all about the performance.
Instead, the car customizer extraordinaire has focused on tasteful aesthetic enhancement, tweaking the rear end by removing the bumper and trimming the frame extensions. The wheels, meanwhile, are one-off aluminum alloys, designed by Foose himself. Like the stripes, the wheels feature orange accenting.
Ford 1.0L takes third-straight International Engine of the Year award
Thu, 26 Jun 2014Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost is proving to be The Little Engine That Could, and it continues to acquit itself well, finding favor as one of the best powerplants in the world. To confirm it yet again, the tiny mill just won the International Engine of the Year award for the third year in a row, likewise also nabbing the title in the Sub 1.0-liter category.
Packing 123 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque with overboost (125 lb-ft normally), the tiny engine combines impressive power in a size small enough to be a carry-on item for a commercial flight. US buyers only got a taste of the award winner in the 2014 Fiesta, while the 1.0 EcoBoost has been available throughout the Ford lineup in Europe for a few years now. American sales have reportedly been strong, however, and next up in the US, the mill will find its way into the 2015 Focus.
The panel of 82 jury members from 34 countries also named the Mercedes-AMG 2.0-liter turbo found in the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 AMG models with 355 hp and 332 lb-ft as the best New Engine for 2014. The electric powertrain from Tesla won Green Engine prize, and the 4.5-liter V8 from the Ferrari 458 Italia took home the honor of top Performance Engine yet again. You can check out all the winners below, and scroll down further to read Ford's celebratory announcement of its award.
