Fairly solid F100, priced to sell, being sold as-is, clear Mississippi Title, bought as a project and haven't had time for it, engine 351 Modified Big Block and auto transmission donated from another vehicle, and less than stellar install (motor mounts modified poorly), motor turns over and has good compression, the wiring is a mess under the hood and have not had the motor running, no burnt smell from trans dip stick and fluid looks ok, panels on the truck are fairly straight and solid doors and tailgate all work fairly well, a few dents here and there (see pictures), driver side floor board has rusted through and a large section of the truck bed near the cab is rusted through, bumpers are good, frame looks straight, rolls and steers well, windshield needs to be replaced, interior is mostly there but real rough, truck will need quite a bit of work but a fairly good one to start from, Truck is located in Mobile Alabama near Tillman's Corner I10 exit 17. Do my best to answer question.

Ford to announce Mulally retirement, Fields CEO as early as May 1

Ford CEO Alan Mulally may be about to announce his long-rumored retirement from the Blue Oval, according to a pair of insiders who spoke to Bloomberg. An official statement on the succession could arrive as soon as May 1. Chief Operating Officer Mark Fields is rumored to step up as the new CEO. The company is said to be readying the announcement soon to ensure an orderly transition of power, according to the insiders.
Mulally's retirement from Ford has been a hot topic for a while. He was seriously rumored last year to be leaving the automaker to take over as the CEO of Microsoft. The board even said at one point that it was okay with them if he stepped down early. However, the CEO maintained he would stay with the business through at least the end of 2014. Fields has been rumored as a frontrunner to take over the top spot at the company since he was promoted to COO.
For the moment, Ford isn't officially confirming any of these plans. "We don't comment on speculation. We do have succession plans in place for our key leadership. We take succession planning very seriously," said Susan Krusel, Ford Global News Manager, to Autoblog.

Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track

The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood.
