1970 Ford F-100 Ranger
1970 F100 Ranger with a built 472 cubic inch Ford big block w/ Cobra Jet heads. This motor was built for high performance but still able to run on pump gas with the following: forged internals, roller rockers, guide plates, custom grind cam, stainless valves, Weiand stealth aluminum cj intake (port matched to heads), Holley DP carb, Hooker Super Comp Headers, and heads were also ported & polished and port matched. The transmission is a built C6 with 3500 stall. The Ford 9" is a 3.70 true trac. This truck is fast, fun, very streetable and sounds amazing in person.
This truck was painted 8-10 years ago but has been maintained and still looks amazing (always garaged). This truck has a spray-in bed liner. The wheels are custom cragar wheels with BFGoodrich tires. The bumpers and chrome trim are in good shape. The custom interior is in excellent shape and flows with the truck (classy). This truck also has custom VDO gauges and a billet gauge cluster. The CD player works great and the speakers sound good.
The front suspension was lowered using AIM industries drop I-beams and has new shocks. The rear suspension was lowered using AIM industries flip kit and C-sections. This suspension handles great and is easier to maneuver than you would expect from a lowered truck.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

Junkyard Gem: 1991 Mercury Capri
Mon, Sep 19 2016Ford has gotten a lot of use out of the Capri name in the United States. First, there was the Lincoln Capri in the 1950s, followed by the Ford Capri Mk1 (which was sold by Mercury dealers in the USA but never actually badged as a Mercury). Then came the 1979-1986 Mercury Capri, built on the very successful Fox Platform and essentially a clone of the Mustang. Finally, in 1991, the Australian Ford Capri came to the United States. Here is an example of this rare car that I spotted in a Northern California self-service yard not long ago. Mechanically speaking, the 1991-1994 Capri was a Mazda 323 under the skin, complete with a member of the same B-series engine family that went into such cars as the Miata and Ford Escort. So, for a few years in the early 1990s, car shoppers who wanted a sporty Mazda convertible could choose between a Miata and a Capri. The Capri had front-wheel-drive, but could be had with factory turbocharging. These cars were reliable and fun, but had a tough time competing with the Miata in the showroom battles. You'll see the occasional example now and then, but most of the 1991-1994 Capris have met the same fate that awaits this one. Related Video:
