Up for sale is my 1969 Ford F100 SWB Base 2-wheel drive truck. This truck was built in Jan 1969 in the Michigan assembly plant then delivered to Louisville district and sold at Paul Miller Ford in Lexington Kentucky..It was built with the 240 straight 6 and a 3 speed (on the tree) transmission. It's still wears it's original light ivy yellow paint with white trim. The truck currently has 59,000 original miles in it, and it runs like a dream! It's been in Kentucky it's whole life till I've purchased it. There is no rust and has great patina and everything works like it should. The bed doesn't even have any dents in it!!! You can just jump in and drive anywhere! The truck has JDM Dream Beams installed in the front, and their shackle kit in the rear to get that nice stance without cutting everything up. I think the lettering was put on by a previous owner.. It's looks great and looks old. You cannot tell if it's been put on from new or not. I have the right to end the auction at anytime cause for sale locally.. Please call/text with any questions! Thank you 215-651-3837 |

Europe's most-wanted classic car is... the Ford Mustang?
Sat, 28 Sep 2013Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.
In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.
Ford, Volvo top 2014 EyesOn Design awards
Fri, 17 Jan 2014Each year at the Detroit Auto Show, the top vehicle designs are recognized with the prestigious EyesOn Design award for production and concept vehicles. This year, the 32 EyesOn Design judges (comprised of current and former vehicle designers including Chrysler designer and SRT president Ralph Gilles, Kia designer Peter Schreyer and retired General Motors designer Wayne Cherry) handed out three awards for the Best Concept Vehicle, Best Production Vehicle and Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials.
Beating out the Mercedes C-Class and Ford F-150, the 2015 Ford Mustang was named the Best Production Vehicle as the top auto show debut at this year's Detroit show. The 2014 Volvo Concept XC Coupe took home awards as the Best Concept Vehicle and for its Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials.
Considering the Volvo's primer grey hue and subtle orange accents, it was a rather surprising winner for Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials over flashier concepts like the Toyota FT-1 and our Editors' Choice top pick, the Kia GT4 Stinger. Other vehicles in the running for the concept car award include the GT4 Stinger and Audi Allroad Shooting Brake
