I bought two trucks as a package deal and cant keep both. So if your looking for a 69 ranger short bed look no further. Up for your consideration is a extremely nice well kept daily driven 1969 f-100. This truck has been in Georgia for years, from what I was told by the previous owner. The truck still retains a 69 Georgia licence plate on the front bumper that will come with the truck. It runs and drives great with a later model low mileage 302 and automatic transmission. Its sports a edelbrock performer intake manifold, new edelbrock carburetor, breather, valve cover and more. Truck starts every time with the added electronic ignition, electronic choke, and brand new battery. Its also has power steering and has already had the disc brake conversion done. Engine and transmission runs/shift out great with no problems at all. The brakes are all in working order as they should be and will also come with a brake booster if wanted to convert to power brakes. Truck also rides on a set of aftermarket 15" aluminum wheels that are in great shape.  Dual exhaust with factory exhaust manifolds. The interior is really nice considering the age of the truck. The dash pad, seat and carpet are all in really nice shape. Added seat belts along with the AM/FM/CD player. All the glass is perfect with no cracks or no major fogging. All the gauges work perfectly except for the oil pressure gauge at times can be temperamental. Heat works great. The horn is not working and the interior light needs a bulb.   All the lights, tail lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, wipers, etc.. work perfectly. As far as the body I guarantee you wont be disappointed! All the chrome seems to be present and there is absolutely no rust holes anywhere on the outside body that I could find to speak of. The inside of the bed is mint with no rust at all. Perfect floor pans, core support, battery tray, front body mounts, tailgate, hood, etc.. I have included some pictures down below of all these areas. I just drove this truck 80 miles with absolutely no problems. This truck is good to go mechanically only needing minor cosmetics, or just enjoy it and drive it as is. This is one of the nicest 67-72 ford truck unrestored body's that I have seen in years. So good luck and you don't want to miss this one! Low reserve

Truck may be for sale locally so I have the rite to end auction early if sold. When reserve is met it will be sold here only.
I have described the truck to the best of my knowledge. But if you have questions please ask before you bid and only bid if you plan to pay!
500.00 deposit due rite after auction ends unless other arrangements discussed previously.

Georgia does not and will not issue titles for classics of this age. Truck will be sold with current open Georgia state bill of sale along with a Current signed tag recite. With these items you should be able to obtain a title in your state if needed.

Production of Shelby GT350 is coming to an end

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

One Autoblog staffer who drove the limited-edition Shelby GT350 wrote it probably was the best Mustang he'd driven, but, at some point, the fun had to come to an end: December 31 is the last day the GT350 will be available to order.
The GT350's option list has evolved much like it did for the original 1965-67 GT350. For 2011, the 45th Anniversary edition only came in coupe form and was painted white with blue stripes, just as with the 1965 car. The 2012 GT350 was offered as a coupe or convertible, and three colors were added to the option list, just like the 1966 model. For 2013, more colors and options were added in addition to equipment and styling updates, which resulted in Wilwood instead of Baer brakes. No major changes were made for the 2014 model. From the first car in 2011, customers have been able to choose between three different configurations for their 5.0-liter V8: naturally aspirated with 440 horsepower, supercharged with 525 hp (with warranty) or supercharged with 624 hp (without warranty).
"When we unveiled this latest version of the Shelby GT350, we promised it would be built for a limited time to preserve its collectability and value," states John Luft, president of Shelby American. He may have a point, because the original GT350, which also had a limited production run, is among the most valuable muscle cars in the world.

Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).

Ford reveals automated Fusion Hybrid

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

Autonomous cars may still be in their infancy, but more and more big names in the auto industry are diving in head first. Nissan is already making strides with a semi-autonomous Leaf EV and General Motors is planning to offer semi-autonomous tech by 2020. And then there's Google, doing its thing with a fleet of Toyota Prius. Now, Ford is showing off its latest automated effort, a driverless Fusion Hybrid.
Partnering with the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and State Farm Insurance, the project is part of Ford's Blueprint for Mobility, the company's plan for transportation beyond 2025. "The Ford Fusion Hybrid automated vehicle represents a vital step toward our vision for the future of mobility," Chairman Bill Ford said. "We see a future of connected cars that communicate with each other and the world around them to make driving safer, ease traffic congestion and sustain the environment."
The automated Fusion features four LiDAR infrared sensors that scan the road 2.5 million times every second, using a principle similar to the echolocation used by dolphins or bats. Using the infrared light emitted by the LiDAR, the car can draw a picture of everything within 200 feet to create a map of its surroundings. According to Ford, the sensors are able to tell the difference between a paper bag and a small animal from a football field away.
