Have way to many projects so we are going to sell a few, here we have for sale one very nice Ford F-100 short bed for restoration. Truck has a very nice body and bed, bed has a little rust in the front, and lower back bottom of cab corners have a little rust . It has a 5.0 302 engine and a 5 speed stick out of and 1985 mustang Gt transmission. Engine is very strong and tight as is transmission. New seat cover . Brakes need some work, wheel cylinders are leaking.. Truck has headers with dual exhaust. This would make somebody a really good truck. Truck is sold as-is with no title, bill of sale only (automobiles in Alabama older than 1975 do not require a title). How Ford secretly used customers to test its aluminum F-150 [w/video]
Fri, 30 May 2014Automakers getting clever about disguising development vehicles isn't anything new. Between mules wearing the sheetmetal of other cars and prototypes decked out in as much camouflage as is practical, automakers know how to make it very difficult for the general public to get an exact idea of what kind of vehicle is in development. Ford, though, is rapidly becoming the master.
We knew that the Blue Oval originally tested the durability of the aluminum construction being used for the 2015 F-150 by building an all-aluminum 2014 truck and entering it in the Baja 1000 off-road race. That's no longer a secret. What we didn't know, though, is that the aluminum development dates back to before even that, and that some of the people in question had no idea what it was they were working with.
Ford says this is the first time prototypes have ever been handed over to the public.
Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time
Fri, 27 Sep 2013We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.
