I bought this truck to restore because it is in such good condition but all it has done is set under my carport. And can't see me getting around to it anytime soon. It has a clear Texas title in my name and antique tags that are expired. I was told it was running when it was parked but I never heard it run. I put a battery in it and it turned over and sounded good UNDERSTAND it didn,t start it was just turning over by starter. The doors, windows, and the three speed column shift operate very good. The tightness of the shifter and the condition of the truck makes me believe the mileage is correct but I can't say for sure. The body has nothing but surface rust and what appears to be the original paint and I can't find any body work anywhere.I bought the truck fron a guy in Oklahoma and had it shipped to Texas and transfered it and got a Texas title in my name. The floor in the cab is solid as is most all the truck. The bed floor has some small holes that would be a easy fix.I do not have the keys but the ignition switch will operate with a knife blade or screwdriver .

When I got the truck this what I found out about it's condition , no brakes (master cylinder I believe) , clutch operated good (used transmission to stop truck when rolling off trailer), fuel line not connected to engine ,coil missing and couple of plug wires , exhaust system missing except manifolds and they are junk, there was a new water pump in the front seat which I just bolted on so bolts would not get lost , and a engine gasket set on the floor. The tires are rollers and don't leak but not good for driving and the spare is flat. The steering is tight. A heater ,wipers and lights are about the only options.Looks like overload springs on rear end also and truck sets very well.

The truck will have to be trailered and will not drive on trailer, shipping is the buyers  responsibility , I want a 200.00 deposit thru paypal , I do have access to a carhauler trailer and if your not to far away we may be able to work something out but that would require truck and delivery all paid before I do that. Also the warranty has long expired on the truck so there is not one. Sorry I gotta say all that but not everyone is as honest as you and me.

New York Mets outfielder turns spring training into his personal car show

Wed, Feb 24 2016

New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is known for his wide range of talents. He can hit for power, average, has good speed, and is solid in the field. His car collection is equally versatile and diverse, and it's been on display this week at spring training. Every day has brought a different car, and it has his teammates and the media atwitter. Cespedes rolled up Wednesday to the Mets facility in Port St. Lucie in a Lamborghini Aventador. It's black with blue trim. Anthony DiComo with MLB.com tweeted this: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted the Lambo has a custom exhaust that cost $80,000 and shoots out flames. Of course, that's already old news. His Alfa Romeo showed up today, too. Apparently Mets infielder Wilmer Flores has been driving it. That's an ultra-rare 8C Competizione, brought to you by Robert Brender of SNY.TV. This content is hosted by a third party. It's customized with gaudy wire wheels, red accents, and Cespedes' No. 52 on the hood. Subtle. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Jon Santucci of Scripps newspapers observed it. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. At this rate, we should probably skip Geneva and get credentialed for Mets spring training. Cespedes signed a three-year $75-million contract with the Mets in the off-season. He's also played for the Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and Detroit Tigers. Related Video: Image Credit: Getty Images Celebrities Design/Style Ford Lamborghini Performance baseball

What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?

Ken Block proves the new Ford Focus RS can handle that Gymkhana thing

Wed, Feb 4 2015

Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:
