1964 FORD F100

SHORT BED STEP SIDE PICKUP TRUCK

STARTS, RUNS, DRIVES, STEERS AND STOPS GREAT.

THIS TRUCK IS A BLAST TO DRIVE!  IT HAS A ECONOMICAL STRAIGHT 6 NOW BUT ITS READY FOR YOUR V-8. IF I KEEP IT I'LL HOT ROD THE 6 WITH OFFY INTAKE, A DUECE CARB AND EXHAUST HEADERS. ITS GOT A 9" REAR END AND IT'S THE LAST OF THE WOODEN BEDS AND TRUE STRAIGHT AXLE. THE OAK IS STILL PRETTY GOOD. 16 GALLON FUEL CELL, HEAVY GOLD METAL FLAKE SCALLOPS AND WHITE PINSTRIPE, NICE UPHOLSTERY OVER STOCK SEAT, NEW RUG, NEW TIRES, NEW STARTER, IGN SWITCH AND RELAY, TOO. NEW BACK WINDOW SEAL AND NEW WINDSHIELD. LIGHTS, WIPERS, HEATER, DEFROST AND BLOWER ALL WORK. NO HORN AND TURN SIGNALS ARE NOT WORKING. THE GRANNY STYLE TRANS IS GREAT WITH NO WHINING OR POPPING OUT OF GEAR UNDER COMPRESSION. REAR END HAS NO SLOP OR WHINE EITHER. THE CLUTCH LINKAGE WORKS OK BUT NEEDS ATTENTION TO BE PROPER. (KINDA SLOPPY). THE DOORS AND DOOR JAMBS AND HINGES ARE EXCELLENT, ALL WINDOWS ARE INTACT AND WORK WELL. VERY LITTLE RUST. CAB CORNERS HAVE BEEN WORKED ON BUT LOOK GOOD NOW. SOME TINY BUBBLES BUT NOT BAD. DRIVERS KICK PANEL HAS A SPOT OF RUST ABOUT THE SIZE OF A DOLLAR BILL. IT'S GOT  FEW DINGS AND CHIPS HERE AND THERE BUT LOOKS PRETTY GOOD ALL TOGETHER. ONE OF THE MOON DISCS IS DENTED A BIT. THE BED AND TAIL GATE ARE GREAT!  I MISTED DOWN THE GARAGE WITH GOLD DUST WHILE PAINTING THE SCALLOPS SO IT LOOKS LIKE A FLAT BLACK WITH METAL FLAKE BUT ONLY ON THE HORIZONTAL FLAT SURFACES. THE DOORS AND OTHER VERTICALS STAYED JUST BLACK. IT SEEMS TO HAVE GONE THROUGH A GOLD DUST STORM. YOU WOULD'T SEE IT UNLESS YOU LOOK CLOSE OR THE SUN IS DIRECTLY REFLECTING OFF IT.

THIS LITTLE HOT ROD COMES FROM A HARLEY AND HOT ROD FAMILY WHERE VEHICLES GET NAMES AND ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY! I HAVE TAKEN GREAT CARE TO KEEP HER SAFE, CLEAN AND USEFUL. YOU COULD FLY IN AND DRIVE THIS RIG ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. IT IS VERY RELIABLE AND DOESN'T HAVE ANY BAD HABITS LIKE OVERHEATING OR VAPOR LOCKS, ETC!

GOOD LUCK BIDDING!

The List #0178: Attend Rally School

Tue, Apr 7 2015

Jessi and Patrick attend Team O'Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH, to learn how to shred in the snow. Veteran instructor and school founder Tim O'Neil demonstrates left-foot braking, slalom techniques, turning, proper ways to blip the throttle and more in this episode. They get behind the wheel of modern Ford Fiestas with front-wheel drive and a vintage Audi Quattro with all-wheel drive. They catch on quickly, and O'Neil tells Patrick: "Tell your grandchildren you are a rally driver." Watch as our hosts check "attend rally school" off their list. Have an RSS feed? Carfection looks for the ultimate pocket rocket

Fri, Mar 18 2016

If there's one thing we love, it's a good showdown. Especially when it's on video, done by some Englishmen, and involving some manner of performance machinery. Like this latest clip, for example, from Carfection. The team formerly known as Xcar have assembled three very compelling supermini hot hatches: two we can get on our side of the pond, and one we can't. One American, one Frenchman, and one Brit. One cheap, one expensive, and one somewhere in between. They all pack turbo fours, of course, but placed in entirely different packages. There's the evergreen favorite Ford Fiesta ST, the Renault Clio RS 220 Trophy that should have the rest licked, and the retro rocket that is the Mini JCW. And there's only one way to find out which is the best. It's a tough contest, to be sure, but lest you think it all comes down to specifications or which one's the newest, you'll want to think again. Because when it comes to hot hatches, all the electronic gizmos and power boosts in the world can't show up a perfectly dialed-in chassis that lets you hug the curves and feel like you're going a lot faster than you actually are. But don't take our word for it – see what our British friends have to say about it in the Queen's English in the seventeen-minute clip above. Related Video:

2015 Ford F-150 gets Power Wheels treatment [w/video]

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

With the introduction of its forthcoming 2015 F-150, Ford is breaking with convention by shifting from steel-intensive construction to aluminum. But what if it weren't made of metal altogether? What if it were made of plastic instead, and packed an electric motor instead of an internal-combustion engine?
Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on the new Power Wheels F-150. Built by Fisher-Price and licensed by Ford, the third-generation ride-on toy started development nine months before the full-size version debuted at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, and is hitting sidewalks and driveways across the country this September.
The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.
