As you can see from the pictures, this truck is in good condition for its age. It runs well.

There is very little body rust and the only real body work that would need done is on the corner of the driver side bed rail as it has been bent. Also, the floor pans need replaced. I bought  this truck last spring with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. Unfortunately i have not had the time to work on it and need to sell it. Although the truck runs well, please understand that it is unrestored from 1963 and does have small issues such a missing window crank, interior door handles, old window seals, etc. but overall has been well cared for and would make a good candidate for a restoration or just a work truck. It does have a new starter and alternator. It will come with a reprinted edition shop manual. I take it out for an occasional drive. If you have any questions, please ask and I will get back to you with a quick response. Serious inqueries and bidders only please.

Tanner Foust gets eponymous hotted-up Ford Focus ST from Cobb Tuning

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Racer and Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust has partnered up with Cobb Tuning to create a special-edition Ford Focus ST. The limited-edition hatches will come packing a reflashed ECU, special intercooler, tweaked intake and freer-flowing exhaust for up to 20 percent more power than the stock creation. Cobb says that the changes should push the final dyno figure to above 300 horsepower. Buyers can also expect to find special carbon fiber aerodynamic bits on board along with a new grille, graphics and wheels. Cobb hasn't released pricing on this Tanner Foust Edition Ford Focus ST as of yet, but you can bet the whole kit won't be cheap.
Fortunately, the company will sell you bits and pieces from the overall package for your Ford, and word has it engineers are also whipping up a Foust Fiesta ST. Look for Cobb's Focus ST website to go live next month, complete with accurate specs and pricing. Until then, enjoy clicking through the gallery here. 2016 Ford Explorer embarks at the LA Auto Show

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

Twenty-five years since its debut in 1990, Ford will celebrate a quarter century of Explorer models next year with the debut of a refreshed 2016 model at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19. The Blue Oval is keeping mum on hard details about the updated SUV for now, but the brand promises, "a new look, added capability and additional driver-assist technology," in its announcement.
Company marketing boss Jim Farley elaborated a little more on what to expect. "The new Explorer is still the SUV America fell in love with - a vehicle built for the perfect family adventure," he said in the release that you're welcome to read down below.
An updated Explorer is a pretty big deal for Ford's bottom line. Worldwide, SUVs and crossovers account for about 23 percent of Ford's sales, and the segment is projected to grow to around 29 percent by 2020. Ford further says that SUVs and CUVs are the world's quickest growing segment with demand up 88 percent since 2008.
