I am selling a 1956 Ford F100 Custom Cab. Ordered from Louisville Kentucky Purchased in Tennessee, a true southern car. I still have the tennessee small title. I purchased the vehicle with intentions to paint the vehicle our company colors, along with advertising our company logo. This particular model I was very fond of due to my grandfathers original truck on the farm. The truck has been very well taken care of with minimum amount of rust in the vehicle. The areas that rust is present are near the two front fenders where the fender and cab meet,These areas are small in size. The vehicle was sitting for awhile, I would suggest new brakes fluids changed before road worthy. The Motor starts and runs, Transmission shifts good it appears to have original hub caps. and possibly old rubber. The front bumper is missing, and the running boards are not original. In my opinion this is one of the best original Ford pickups that i have found, That wern't rotted out. I am not a hobbiest nor a collector. Please email with any questions. Truck is being sold as used and is AS IS no warrantees. Buyer pays all shipping and loading charges. A 500 Dollar deposit 48 Hours of ending auction and payment in full in three days after auction ends is required.

Ford sued over alleged 3.5-liter EcoBoost defects
Thu, 16 May 2013Three Ford owners from Ohio have filed a lawsuit against the automaker over defects that they allege exist within the company's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine. Automotive News reports that the lawsuit claims the engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects." Those defects, the suit claims, cause the vehicle to shake, misfire and lose power quickly.
Two of the plaintiffs, a married couple, own a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, and allege they experienced a loss of power and stalling, while the third, an F-150 owner, claims he lost power while accelerating. In addition to the Taurus SHO and F-150, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine is also available in the Ford Flex, Explorer Sport and Lincoln MKT and MKS. Other three- and four-cylinder EcoBoost engines are not included in the suit. There have been no recalls associated with 3.5-liter V6 engine, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently not investigating the matter.
The plaintiffs, however, claim Ford has known about the problem, citing several technical service bulletins issued to dealers of the F-150 that suggest possible fixes. Ford had no comment for Automotive News, saying that it's yet to review the lawsuit, which was filed last Friday in Columbus, OH.
Ford announces four recalls, 1.4M vehicles affected
Thu, 29 May 2014Ford is taking a bit of the spotlight away from General Motors, announcing a major group of recall campaigns, covering a total of 1.4 million vehicles built between 2006 and 2013.
Let's start with the big one, which covers the Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner and, according to The Detroit News, Ford-built Mazda Tribute CUVs. 915,216 vehicles are covered, all of which were built in model years 2008 to 2011. 736,000 vehicles are in the US, while Canada then Mexico make up the vast majority of the remainder. The problem is due to an issue with the torque sensor in the steering column, which could lead to sudden power steering failure. Manual steering would still be available, though.
"Dealers will perform one of three service fixes, depending upon what diagnostic codes are shown when the vehicle is taken to the dealer," Ford spokeswoman Kelli Felker wrote to Autoblog in an email. "They will either update software for the power steering control module and the instrument cluster module; replace the torque sensor; or replace the steering column, which includes upgraded power steering control module software."
