Up for auction is my 1955 Ford Panel truck. It is a running driving nearly finished classis truck project. Has a Camaro front subframe and a Camaro rear end . Has a good running low mileage ( 31k mile ) 1989 Chevy motor with 4 barrel carb. and a TH 400 Auto transmission. Has Power brakes- discs all around. Power steering with tilt wheel. Auto trans with Lokar shifter. Has mild custom " caddy style " taillights. Entire body, doors, grill etc taken down to bare metal and primered. Some exterior rear wheel metal was replaced. Has a good frame bur inner fender and some non structural areas have rust. Needs exhaust system, lights wired, shocks paint and a few other things done to be ready for cruising or car shows. Ford dealers offered discounts on tools to fix aluminum
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With the introduction of the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 (and the likely use of aluminum in future Ford products), Ford is looking to help its dealerships reduce costs related to repairing this more labor-intensive material. Automotive News is reporting that Ford dealers with body shops will require an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in equipment and training to work on aluminum, and to help alleviate the financial burden of the new F-150, Ford has announced a special 20-percent discount on this equipment.
Dealers will be able to save up to $10,000 on tools such as welders, air-filtration systems and rivet guns and to create aluminum-specific work stations. The new F-150 goes on sale in the fourth quarter, and dealers have until October 31 to take advantage of this deal, according to the report.
Mustang pinball game will feature art by Ford GT designer
Fri, 13 Dec 2013To celebrate 50 years of Mustang, Ford and Stern Pinball are collaborating on a new pinball machine that will feature the muscle car in all its glory, Polygon reports. Even better, Camilo Pardo, the guy who designed the Ford GT, will provide art for the table; Tanner Foust, Top Gear USA host and professional driver, will handle narrating duties; and a Sony Music soundtrack spanning five decades will provide the tunes.
"The Mustang is one of the most iconic, American cars ever made... What better way to celebrate 50 years of Mustang than with the launch of the Ford Mustang pinball game?" says Stern Pinball CEO Gary Stern.
