I have owned this truck for over 28 years, I bought the truck in upland california and have done a complete frame off resto. on it about 12 years ago, the truck is tight, solid, no rattles, runs great, drive very smooth, great daily driver, but after 28 years, its time to part with it and move on to other projects, its been a fun truck and always gets a lot of looks, I'll list everything I can think of along with minor problems, also, all my f-100 parts go with the truck, and there's a lot of extras, I just don't see building another f-100, so with that said
1978, 302 motor, bored 30 over
edelbrock carb and manifold
edelbrock cam and lifters, (mild cam)
2'' duel exhaust with chrome turn down tips
glasspack mufflers, (sounds great)
C4 auto transmission with B&M shift kit
ford 9'' rear, 2:75 rear gears
mustang 2 IFS
rack and pinion power steering
power front disc brakes, drum in rear
tilt steering colume
front frame rails boxed
auto meter gauges, all work
12,683 miles on truck since last rebuild, engine, trans, rear end,
kenwood am/fm/cd player with kenwood speakers
original bench seat, just redone last year
fuel tank has been cleaned and sealed about 2 years ago
fresh air recirculating heater, complete,
shaved door handles
3 row radiator with original fan shroud (metal)
all the work on the truck I did myself, engine, transmission, rear end
brakes, steering, metal work, and so on
extra parts:
set of doors, left rear fender, right front fender, running boards, original spar tire carrier(mounts under the bed) rear glass, small parts, battery box cover, mirrors, door regulators, window regulators, seat rails, the box in the back of the bed (see pics) holds a 2nd gas tank that I made, its covered in stainless steel sheet, 2nd gas tank comes with it but will need to be cleaned and coated.
the problems:
hood and top has some slight overspray in spots, nothing major, but when you get right up on it, you can see it, the right turn signal does not reset on its own(little plastic lever in steering colume broke) both turn singles do work, door solenoid on driver side door only, power rack and pinion does have a slight leak and seals should be replaced, but nothing major, the heater core has a leak and I have an extra heater core, could be fixed at any radiator shop, the truck is a southern california truck, and I had no need to run the heater out there, here in oklahoma, I just don't drive the truck in bad weather, also the truck was shipped back here in 07 when we moved (just had to much to move at the time) the heater motor does work, left running board has a fuel stain, gas got on it, and the paint has a few small chips and dings, nothing major,
now with that said, this is not a 50 thousand dollar show truck, I built this truck to enjoy and drive without worrying about getting a chip or ding on it, it runs great, and I'd have no problem driving this truck from oklahoma to los angeles and back with no problems, I also hope whoever gets it enjoys it as much as I have over the years, its a big toy, and with all old vehicles, weather there built stock or street rod, for some resion, there just never done, there's always something else you want to do to them.
now payment and pick up:
this truck is sold AS IS, NO WARRANTY,
200.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end
balance due within 7 days of auction end
payment, cash at time of pick up (cash works best)
full payment through pay-pal, ANY type of check MUST clear
my bank before I release the truck, or a bank transfer from your bank to mine
If your feedback is less than 10, e mail me first before you bid
If you have a minus zero, -0 feedback, please don't bid
If you can't pick the truck up, YOU need to make arangements to have it shipped
I'll work with you on that.
I have a fair reserve on the truck, please don't ask, its not fair to the other bidders
you don't just get the truck, but all the extra f-100 parts I have also.
any questions, please feel free to ask,

Unrestored 1969 Shelby GT500 one of many classic barn finds going to auction
Wed, 19 Mar 2014We love a good barn find here at Autoblog. We like that there's a palpable excitement and sense of mystery surrounding barn finds. Each case has its own uniqueness to it, and this latest discovery is no different: an unrestored, one-owner 1969 Shelby GT500 with just 8,531 miles on it.
In the case of this particular barn find, many of the typical questions have already been answered. For example, we know who owned it - his name was Larry Brown. He recently passed away, and as he had no wife or children to inherit the estate, the car he purchased at Pennsylvania Ford dealer in May of 1969, will be auctioned off by Ron Gilligan Auctioneers.
The car was fastidiously maintained, having never been driven in the rain. In fact, Brown never even washed it, out of fear of it rusting. According to the auction website, the last time this car saw water was probably when it was detailed ahead of being delivered to Brown. If that doesn't sound like a fanatical sense of maintenance on the part of this GT500's owner, this next part will. The interior has been treated to a similarly painstaking attempt at preservation, with garbage bags covering the seats and two layers of floor mats over the carpets. The result is a car that, aesthetically, is in remarkable shape considering it's spent so long in a barn.
Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
California Man Reunited 33 Years Later With Thunderbird
Wed, Sep 3 2014A California man was at a loss for words when he was reunited with his prized 1964 Ford Thunderbird on Tuesday, 33 years after it was stolen from a bar parking lot. Gary Chartrand could hardly believe how well his old Thunderbird held up in the last three decades. The odometer had only added about 1,000 miles from when he last saw the car back in the 1980s. "A few bumps and bruises but boy, not much changed," Chartrand told KOVR. Chartrand bought the car as a present to himself after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 10 years in 1981. It disappeared one night from the parking lot of a Sacramento bar where he was working. Police found Chartrand's car 750 miles north in Washington State. They have no leads on who might have stolen the classic car. Related Gallery Buying An Older Car: Five Things To Watch Out For
